Having traveled extensively we recognize that Calgary is not a premiere walking City unless you stay near Kensington, Eau Claire Mission or Downtown. This wonderful penthouse condo offers a strategic location that plays to the best that calgary has to offer, close to all sites and transit, incredible views and amazing community! This is by far the best way to experience Calgary without the need for a vehicle. If required you'll find numerous Car2go's available within a block!
This turn of the century condo with upgraded kitchen is a gem. It has a large open plan living/dining room which is quite cozy. The beds were comfortable and a nice size bathroom. The photos on the site are a good representative of the condo. The condo is on the top floor, we did not hear any noise from the neighbours below, very quiet building and well maintained. We did not do a lot of cooking as there are many good restaurants within walking distance. The view from the living room window is spectacular. Across the road are bike and running/walking trails and the Peace bridge, leading to downtown Calgary. The location of this condo could not have been better. We would definitely book again.
I had my parents visiting from oversees, and booked the location for them for two weeks.
They were very happy about the charming condo. Everything was clean and very convinient- close to downtown, the River Walk, and the shops and restaurants in Sunnyside. Correspondence with the owners ran very smooth.

We stayed in the apartment in July 2015 to attend my brothers wedding. The location of the apartment was perfect! Close to everything we needed. A short walk across the peace bridge right opposite the apartment takes you into downtown Calgary, where you can then use the c-train to get out to chinook mall.
My husband enjoys running and found the path across the street running along side the river great for a morning run.
The apartment is so spacious and the building is nice and quiet. I did worry with us having our 3 year old son with us (he can be quite noisy) but I don't think he bothered any neighbours.
The amenities were great. We were most impressed with the use of the laundry facilities in the basement!
Minette was very helpful and always just a message away should we have any questions. For example, 3 adults not being able to get a front door open! Haha. Quickly rectified through a quick message.
Overall it was a great place to stay. Far better than a downtown hotel.
Would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed a lot our stay. The appartment was spacious with many closets and the kitchen had a full cooking range. Nice view of the city centre and Bow river. Bike trail and hiking path just in front of the appartment. Nearby are many restaurants and a charming neighborhood.
Internet connexion was easy and reliable.
Only positive elements! It is a property that we will keep in mind when planning another stay in Calgary.
