Really nice and quiet.
The property was nice and tucked away at bottom of the mountain so the view was amazing. The hot tub was relaxing and playing pool with the family was nice. Overall it was a nice getaway. The owners were really nice.
NO CLEANING FEE'S FOR REASON
This was a last minute Getaway Trip from Cincinnati. Week of stay was spring break so most rentals in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge was taken. The property was at a reasonable price so we rented this property. Owner or contact was super at communication. The problems we had with this property that would keep us from renting again was simple: Place was Dirty, should have listened to reviews we read prior. Also, advertised to sleep 6, Sofa Bed is ancient and springs at surface makes for horrible night.
First, our guest home as usual was and is always clean,
and you must know you left the jacuzzi filthy after putting four kids in it, its not a 'kiddie' pool,
but strickly for use by adults only.
And that two year old sofa sleeper is just that, not in any way comparable to a regular bed. Our ad clearly states 'sofa sleeper'.
We Loved this quaint cabin! The owner goes the extra mile!
Never have we stayed in a place that was this welcoming! The cabin was well kept, clean and comfortable. Too short of a stay in this lovely cabin. Everything you need and want for a beautiful stay in the mountains. Great location and easy access to everything you need. We used the crock pot so we could have dinner waiting for us after a long day out. Nice large kitchen with beautiful counter. Comfortable leather sofa in the living room, nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Very well maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub and the wrap around decks.
Great cabin and we will recommend it to our friends. Thank you also for sending me a list of activities, in the area. No one has done that before and we used many of your recommendations. Loved the place!! We have stayed at multiple locations (cabins) in the area and by far this one is the best.

Not what we thought
This place was in a nice location and had a beautiful first impression outside. As we got closer and walked in, to our dismay, the place was filthy. The floors hadn’t been swept from previous visitors, or mopped. I also happened to find the previous guests pants next to a coffee table, YUCK!! The guy acted as if he hadn’t seen his place since the last people left. He was trying to make up for it by cleaning, but after taking three small kids over 4 hours we just wanted to settle in, not wait for him. The fridge had old food in it from previous guests. The banister on the stair was jerry-rigged with thin pieces of wood, no screws, had the babies pushed hard enough they would have fallen down the stairs. The pool table downstairs had pool sticks that were not usable and when mentioned to the owner, he told us they have new tips, we told him the new tips did not fit properly, he just told us those were the same tips as he had bought previously. We did not want to argue, but he was obviously misinformed. The pool table was also disgustingly dirty with no brush to clean it. The laundry room was full of utility tools that were easily accessible to small children. This was super dangerous, as we have a toddler who is very into everything and can open doors no problem. There should have been a child safety lock on the door or something to prevent small children from getting in there. The bed downstairs was so unstable, people should not be sleeping on it until it is corrected. The linens were NOT WASHED! I had to do four loads when I got there, of just linens. The bathroom in the downstairs was gross. I didn’t even feel comfortable taking a shower. There are no bath tubs in this house. That would have been nice to know as we have super small children. The tile flooring was really poorly done and super abrasive on your feet. The parque was coming up everywhere in this house. We were disappointed to say the least. I believe this place should have a better description and should definitely be fixed up before more guests are allowed to stay here.
And leaving all those empty bottles of liguor on the counter was not funny. Our guest house is not a Pub,
Home away from home!
My family and I had a great stay in this cabin! The owner could not be anymore friendly! He was very helpful in every way! Thank you so much Jimmy for allowing us to stay in your cabin!
Jim was super nice! Great cabin for peace and quiet after a day in Pigeon Forge. Great front porch for reading and relaxing!! Awesome time!
