This Hawaiiana style home will help put you in a tropical state of mind. This beautiful 655 square foot home has a remodeled kitchen and bathroom with granite counter tops and dark wood cabinets including new Pier 1 dining table and chairs, fresh paint, and new Queen size sleeper sofa with 6 inch memory foam Oct 2015. New AC in the living room Nov 2014 and FREE secure Wi-Fi Internet access for your laptop and other devices. The bedroom has new hypoallergenic Berber carpet and new bedroom furniture and King size bed with sealy memory foam top with gel overlay Oct 2015. The condo has tile floors in the main living areas and bathroom. To allow the trade winds in day and night there is a security screen door.

The well maintained Kihei Akahi complex has two swimming pools, BBQs, and a tennis court surrounded in a tropical landscaped setting. This complex is directly across the street from popular Kamaole Beach Park II and another five minute stroll to the border of Wailea and then Keawakapu Beach.

Every Maui Vision property listed is a non-smoking home, this includes the lanai (balcony) and hallways.

This privately owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. General Excise and Transient Accommodation taxes are collected and transmitted to the State of Hawaii on all rentals: Hawaii GE and TA 201-758-1056-01

From the first time we visited Maui, there was no doubt in our minds we wanted a home here. We bought this unit due to location, location, location!! Maui for it's absolute beauty and 'lei-d' back lifestyle. South Kihei for it's dry, sunny weather, fantastic beaches and central to the best Maui can offer. Kihei Akahi for it's immaculate lush grounds, excellent maintenance of the complex, and beach access literally across the street. It is conveniently located close to restaurants, shops and the best beaches in Maui.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo:

Our Asian-inspired decorated home is newly renovated; with a fully stocked kitchen, linens, and beach accessories. It has high speed and secured Wi-Fi internet access. The unit is situated away from the elevators, stairwells, and traffic noise. Our home has views of the lush gardens that offer privacy, with partial ocean view from the lanai (balcony). We have installed a filter for the cold water in the kitchen so there is no need to buy or waste bottled water. We are confident you will find our unit to be comfortable, clean and cozy. We have tried to outfit our second home with all the conveniences of our own and continually upgrade with each visit back.

great location / great condo

My wife & I and our teenage son stayed in this unit for a week in late March - the Condo was exactly as described & perfect for all our needs. Very well appointed, great kitchen and dishware, utensils & appliances - main bedroom was very comfortable, excellent linens! The pullout bed was perfect for my 15 year old son. There were plenty of 'extras' such as boogie boards, dive masks & fins, sun umbrellas, extra condiments, coolers, etc. For three of us it was perfect - a family with two small children would be good, but the unit may seem a little 'close' with four people, especially with only one washroom. The unit is located directly across from one of Kihei's main beaches - the beach is great for sunbathing, body surfing, sunset watching, tons of turtle's swimming back and forth in the surf. There are a couple good places to eat/snack nearby - great cinnamon buns, shave ice - 5 palms is a 10 minute walk away for a great happy hour. Lots of activities are a short drive away - highlights are Big Beach, Lava Fields, the bamboo forest, upcountry Maui - Keawakapu beach was fantastic and a quick 5 minute drive away.

check in/out was seamless, payment and questions were responded to quickly - I would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone looking for a nice, easy & relaxing place to stay in Kihei.

Good location and well equipped

Lovely condo in a good location in Kihei. Apartment isn't difficult to access and has a good partial view of the ocean. Nice little pool at the front of the condo with bbqs. Only cons were the Umbrella was broken and apartment could have been cleaned better (dishwasher hadn't been unloaded and fridge needed wiping down).

Great place to stay!

We stayed in the condo for 5 days in January, and everything was great. There was 2 of us, and there was ample space for us both. The entire place was very clean and well stocked. The king size bed was very comfortable. Everything we needed in the kitchen, including plastic wrap and Tupperware. Really nice to have the chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, umbrella and the small cooler. Also great to have the washer and dryer in the condo. The complex was quiet and clean. Location / proximity to Kam II ideal. Good instructions and information provided with rental. Thanks you for sharing your condo with us; we felt right at home. Would stay again on our next vacation to Kihei.

Condo in paradise.

Everything was as advertised. Easy beach access with chairs, umbrella and coolers available in the condo. The unit is very clean, very nice updates in kitchen and bath. We were worried about the small AC unit but with the trade winds blowing it was very comfortable and refreshing, we are looking forward to coming back to see the whales.

Great info provided with the rental for places to see and eat.

Great location - very well kept!

My husband and I stayed in C516 at the end of August for our honeymoon and had a phenomenal week. The condo itself was clean and well stocked with beach equipment (chairs/towels/umbrellas etc.), bathroom towels, kitchen supplies etc. The location of the condo was terrific for those that would not be renting a car as there were plenty of beaches and restaurants well within walking distance (plus - you're in Hawaii, so who doesn't enjoy a long walk with the beach and ocean as your back drop). We rented a car for the week, which was a great decision as it allowed us an opportunity to explore the entire island. We didn't use the other amenities that the condo offered (pool, bbq's, etc.) but they looked to be in good condition. Overall a great experience working with Kathy and Maui Vision Rentals - we would definitely recommend her to friends/family and would love to stay at C516 again in the future.
