Dragonfly on Blueberry Hill is a former B&B which is now our family home. The main house has six bedrooms, all with window A/C units, and 41/2 bathrooms, a ground floor master with private bathroom, a lower guest suite with bedroom, living room, bathroom and separate entrance and private patio. There are four bedrooms on the second floor with two full bathrooms. There is a very cozy and air conditioned amply sized self contained studio apartment over the garage "The Nest", with a full bath as well as an eat-in kitchen area.

Dragonfly is very private yet convenient to Payne's Dock (1/2 mile), to Town (1 1/2 miles) and the beaches (1 1/2). It is also in walking distance of the playground and skateboard park (less than 1/2 mile).

The house is fully furnished and very well equipped. There are flat screen TV's in the family room plus the master bedroom, the nest bedroom and the downstairs studio. There is internet wi-fi in the main house. All the beds have comfortable pillows and mattresses.

The kitchen has a cooking island with a five burner gas cooktop, double ovens, warmer draw, all in stainless steel. The kitchen is equipped with all the cooking tools needed to feed a large gathering in addition to toaster, blenders, professional pots and pans and all the cutlery and service pieces need to serve a crowd. There is one king, 4 queens and 4 singles to sleep 14 comfortably.

The house is situated on two acres and is protected and screened from adjacent properties by natural woods and landscaping . There is a large lawn at the front of the house which is ideal for volleyball, Frisbee or any activity which a large area might be needed. Dragonfly is ideal for family reunions and family groups. Block Island is an Island to enjoy and relax with family and friends.

Block Island is naturayl beautiful and despite its proximity to the busy east coast corridor has been able to preserve its uniqueness. It is rightfully described as one of the 12 least spoiled places in North America by the Nature Conservancy.

Blueberry Hill sits protected from its neighbors in 2 acres of lawn and trees. Its quite and peaceful yet a short distance from Town and the beaches.

Idyllic vacation venue

We have been coming to Block Island for 10 years and this by far is the best place we have stayed. The home was spacious, well furnished, updated furniture, kitchen well stocked, clean! The yard was well maintained and with enough space for the children, not to mention the horses next door! The Jacuzzi was an immediate hit!!. The home is private and secluded which was perfect. The only thing missing - a fire pit, otherwise looking forward to return next year!!

Incredible vacation spot

Fantastic place to get away for 10-15 people.

The place has everything you could want: ample rooms, space to relax, hot tub, plenty of grass, and a great relaxing spot to sit outside around the fire. The place is secluded - which is wonderful. About 5-8 minutes from the ferry, very close to the OAR. You need a car to get to it - not just because of the distance, but because the road to the house is large loose gravel. You're sure to have a great time if you lease this place!
