Shiloh's Rest is an inviting log cabin which offers all the comforts of home. Shiloh's rest is located in the prestigious Legacy Mountain Resort. The views from this resort will give you a sense of excitement before you even get to your 'home away from home'. As you turn each corner, take note of the beauty all around you. The builder paid much attention to detail when designing this resort. The roads are wide, paved and well maintained. The cabins are exceptionally built. The resort is located in Sevierville, just outside of Pigeon Forge, in a peaceful environment that is only minutes away from restaurants, shopping and family entertainment.
Here are a few things this charmingly crafted cabin has to offer:
* Main level features an open floor plan with large glass windows to let the sunshine in and to enjoy the breathtaking mountain views.
* Spectacular views can be appreciated from almost anywhere in the cabin.
* Vaulted cathedral ceilings give the main level an open airy feeling.
* Tongue and groove walls and ceilings throughout.
* Living room, dining room and king master suite on the main level have gleaming hardwood floors.
* Main level king master suite has its own private bath.

* Pool table in the loft rec area where the whole family can play and enjoy some quality time together.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Shiloh’s Rest! The views are truly spectacular. There was plenty of space for our family of four. We loved the pool table and air hockey table and enjoyed the selection of board games. The kitchen has everything you’d need to prepare meals, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and nice. The deck was a great place to relax, except for the first couple days of our stay which were very warm and the huge carpenter bees were out in full force! But once the weather cooled down, it was a perfect spot to have a cup of coffee in the morning or relax in the hot tub in the evening.
Although small, the in-unit washer and dryer was great to have. Just remember to bring your own detergent.
The only thing I can think of that we would have liked to have would be a hair dryer, but since it was vacation, not having one wasn’t a huge deal.
We have family in this area and have visited many times, and we highly recommend the app Waze for getting around. It will help you avoid the traffic of the main roads and guide you along the beautiful, winding back roads.
Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay and would definitely come back! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!
Loved Shiloh's Rest!!
We loved our stay at Shilo's Rest! The cabin was perfect for our little getaway and had everything we needed! We will definitely stay here again!
Thank you for visiting Shiloh's Rest. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We just love the area and we also know there is so much to do you cant do it all and still enjoy the cabin, view and all the cabin has to offer. We look forward to your return.
Cabins In The Clouds
great weekend getaway
Two of my co workers and I decided to book this cabin with our spouses for a long weekend, leaving the kids behind. We had a great time, although I kept thinking my kids would really enjoy this place as well.
The cabin was great, spacious and well stocked. I loved the fact that I could cook and eat while overlooking the awesome view of the mountains. The view is truly breathtaking....the first morning was very cloudy and the view was obstructed but as we sat there having coffee it just opened up, it was amazing to watch.
We tasted some moonshine in Gatlinburg, hiked to Laurel falls, had a nice dinner at the "forge" but mostly we enjoyed the cabin and the company.
We will need to come back because a weekend just isn't enough...
My daughters and I enjoyed this cabin very much. The cabin was very clean and the views were gorgeous. The drive to the cabin is very easy and close to many things in Pigeon Forge. The weather was exceptionally warm while we were there for February which was also nice. Evenings on the back deck and in the hot tub were amazing.
I am so glad you enjoyed your stay at Shiloh's Rest. The views from the deck is truly awesome and I too enjoy the mornings and evening there. We are so glad you could have some family time together and hope you return soon.
Just What We Needed
We needed to recharge after a busy holiday. Loved relaxing in the hot tub and doing nothing. The sunset was beautiful. Bed was comfy. Quiet street. Thanks a bunch. We really needed this.
We are so glad you were able to relax and recharge. Doing "Nothing" in The Great Smoky Mountains sounds like a great way to unwind. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
Absolutely breathtaking and clean!
I can not say enough good things about this beautiful cabin. It has breathtaking views! The best around!! Enjoyed the hot tub with the beautiful scenery. Fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable linens and beds. Very easy to communicate with the management company, very clear directions to the beautiful cabin. It was our best trip to The Great Smoky Mountains and we will be back! Thank you so much for the memories!
Thank you so much for visiting Shilohs Rest. I agree with you about the view, I have been in many cabins and the view from Shilohs rest is second to none. We really try hard to have the cabin ready for your visit and we love helping our guests enjoy the area as much as we do. I look forward to your return.
Dollywood is one of the world’s best known theme parks, from the roller coasters, rides, restaurants and shows to the museums and entertainment; you will need to plan to spend at least one full day here. The park is great for the whole family and just minutes from the cabin. Titanic Museum: We went to the Titanic Museum, although a little pricey, we thought it was very interesting. The museum is a replica of the ship that sank in 1912 from the cabins, dining areas, to the grand staircase you see in the movies. You get a good feel for what it would have been like to be aboard the ship during its final voyage. One of the most interesting things to us was at the end when you entered a room where all the conditions were the same as the night the Titanic went down. You could feel how cold the air was, touch an iceberg and dip your hand in the frigid 26 degree water and realize you can’t leave your hand in it for long. It makes you realize what it would have been like to be dumped into the ocean that night. Good for the whole family, although maybe not for the very little ones. The Dixie Stampede is good for the whole family. You will enter a 3500 square foot arena and be treated to a meal of chicken, pork loin, potatoes, vegetables and desert. Then you will see a friendly rivalry between the North and the South. 32 horses, talented riders and herding buffalo, it is a unique experience that everyone will enjoy. The Lumber Jack Feud, although geared more toward our younger guests its real authentic lumberjack action. With competing ESPN Lumberjack athletes, zip lines, draft horses, Timber Dogs and comedy, it will have your family on the edge of their seats! Taking place in a new 10 million dollar arena, its axe swinging, log rolling, tree climbing, chainsaw carving action will offer an experience unlike anything else in the Smoky Mountains! Wonderworks: Young and old alike will appreciate the hands-on activities, interactive exhibits and demonstrations. Wonderworks in Pigeon Forge has an inversion tunnel, an anti-gravity chamber, a replica of the Mercury space capsule and a hurricane hole with 65-mph winds. The re-creation of the 1989 San Francisco earthquake lets you experience the effects of a 5.3 magnitude earthquake. There are more than 150 interactive exhibits at Wonderworks in Pigeon Forge, TN, including the Bubble Room, where you can wrap yourself inside a giant bubble! Elvis Museum and Gift Shop: If you are an Elvis fan you don’t want to miss the Elvis museum. Roaring Fork Motor Nature Tour is a scenic drive into the foothills of the Smokies you will see virgin forests - clear, cascading streams - and vestiges of pioneer farms. A hiking trail leads to Grotto Falls and Mt. LeConte. Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail is a one-way loop road ending in Gatlinburg. Cades Cove is an eleven mile driving loop that has authentic homesteads, churches, gristmills, blacksmith shop, etc. We found it interesting and worth the trip. There are plenty of wild life and possible bear sightings. There is also a hiking trail for those of you who enjoy the outdoors. It is a long hike but not difficult. Clingmans Dome is the highest point in the park and the whole east coast. It is only a .5 miles hike to the peak but it is very steep. The path is paved and wide enough for wheelchairs. On a clear day it has a 360 degree view of the park and surrounding states. Pick the clearest day on your stay if you plan on going here to maximize the view. The road leading to the dome is closed from December through March 31. Good Eats in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg: Our favorite restaurant is the Alamo Steak House, expensive but good. We also like No Way Jose. A good breakfast place is the Red Rooster and the Pancake House at traffic light #10. You cannot go wrong because there are lots of places to eat in the area. White Water Rafting: We have not rafted here but we have had some great feedback from guests like you. Moonshine distillery is in Gatlinburg and is pretty cool. History of moonshine includes the Nascar connection, moonshine making view windows, actual moonshine transport vehicles, live music and of course many different kinds of moonshine with free taste testing. Below is the link for more information. Horseback riding is also something we have not done but looks like fun.
