The Leeward suite has a flat panel television with cable TV, and free wifi. Its island slow, but fine for checking email and basic internet surfing.
Little Rock Villa is in a secluded and private residential community. You will need a car to enjoy the area. Public transportation is not an option, and private taxis are very expensive.
Centrally located to Magen's Bay, Linquist Beach, Coki and Sapphire Beaches, all within a ten minute drive. Ten minutes to Red Hook, 15 minutes to Charlotte Amalie.
I purchased Little Rock Villa in 2014, and spent six months renovating it. It is secluded, yet close to all the best St Thomas has to offer.
Ronald Slope purchased this apartment in 2014
Little Rock Villa has outstanding views of the Atlantic ocean, the American and British Virgin Islands. You will love the sound of the ocean crashing on the rocks below.
Little Rock Villa is comprised of four separate suites, so if you're vacationing with family or friends please inquire about booking a second suite so you can vacation together!
The price was right for the great stay. Ocean front, spacious, clean. Full kitchen, king beds, panoramic views on the ocean, outdoor grill and gazebo.
Super friendly and helpful renter provided guidance and initial directions. Made himself available for any questions.
You need a car to stay here, but it's worth the small drive from the center (15 minutes). You are only about 6 minutes from Red Hook, and 6 minutes from great northern beaches.
I loved hearing the ocean waves all through the night! Would stay again!
Property has everything needed including plenty of extra towels. Even had some water in the fridge for us on arrival. Ron is extremely responsive to all communication. We really enjoyed being away from the crowds and having morning coffee with nothing other than sounds of crashing waves and million dollar views.
We really enjoyed the week we stayed at Little Rock Villa. Very quite with great view. Would definitely consider again. Ron worked very hard to take good care of us.
This home is absolutely beautiful, and Ron was a great host!! I had two people not confirm a last minute stay and I was in dire straits. Ron answered my inquiry quickly and was very accommodating.
The apartment itself was fabulous. Spacious with a ton of air movement - no need for AC.
The view off the balcony was more spectacular than I could have ever hoped.
A couple words of caution: The driveway to this home is very steep. I would recommend a jeep (as I would in any island adventure), but there were other guests with cars that seemed to be ok.
The second is that although the island has great AT&T coverage, at the house the service switches to roaming (it's on a side of a cliff) so make sure to turn off your cell data and make use of the house's very strong and reliable wifi.
I would stay here again with absolutely no hesitation.
My family of 5 stayed here and it was secluded but close to the Red hook area and Cocki beach. It was comfortable and relaxing. Ron was very helpful about the area.
My family and I spent 5 days at Little Rock Villa over Christmas. I was caught off guard how scary it is to drive around the island, but it is completely worth having your own vehicle and driving up to this little slice of paradise! The views are awesome! The privacy is wonderful too. We ate many of our meals at the villa under the gazebo. The use of the grill was very helpful, as well as having a well stocked kitchen. We had no issues with the wifi....which was nice with having 3 teenagers! Ron was very helpful and made us feel right at home. I am going to miss being lulled to sleep by the waves crashing against the rocks!
We stayed for a week in Ron's place and you can't beat the view. Waking up to that every morning is awesome. A Jeep or something similar is needed because the roads are pretty rough getting there and cab rides from Red Hook were anywhere from $15-$20/person. There are plenty of markets in the area to get groceries and its a short drive into Red Hook for restaurants and bars.
