We are Ozark Mountain Vacation Rentals. We love Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri... primarily because of our Two fantastic lakes - Beaver Lake and Table Rock Lake. Combine this with one of the regions best kept secrets, which is the eclectic small town of Eureka Springs. Eureka is an AMAZING Victorian village with a bohemian feel... full of local shop owners and a cultural, hands-on experience that is 'Uniquely-Eureka'. Alternatively, Branson provides a more commercial backdrop - supplying the ubiquitous theme park roll-a-coaster ride during your summer vacation. The area also includes outdoor adventure opportunities that are too numerous to mention, but don't miss the plethora of float trips available on the White River, Kings River, and the Buffalo River (our first 'National River' in the United States). This is also a sportsman's paradise - trout fishing is available on the White River, Roaring River, and at Dogwood Nature Park. Striper fishing is prevalent on Beaver Lake with many guides servicing the area. Beaver Lake is also a fantastic Black Bass lake... as well as one of the major stops on the FLW professional bass fishing tour.
The reasons to visit don't stop there... the list is almost never ending.
The Damon house was a delightful home with a great view of the lake from their spacious deck. It is a nice drive to Eureka Springs and was also just about an hour from Crystal Bridges in Bentonville. We were a family of 8 and the house is better suited for 6. The mattress from the sofa sleeper was more comfortable on the floor than on the frame, but even that was not too comfortable. Also, be prepared because not many towels are provided and only 1 extra bathroom tissue roll was provided. We had read this on a previous review and added it to our shopping list.
When I arrived at the home the house was clean and the view was breath taking. My family and I enjoyed are stay in this comfy and beautiful home. The only reason I gave 3 stars is this (lake) home has no ceiling fans for circulation in this humid heat so makes it hard to breath and no extra towels or no extra toilet paper. We had to wash a load a towels our first night there. Other then that it was perfect.

This property is located in the Mundell Road area... in the Jackson Ridge development. Starky Marina is at the end of Mundell Road, therefore, you will have convenient marina access. There are several public access points in the area. You are not far from Beaver Dam, which has a public swimming area. Because the water is deep on this end of the lake, it is unbelievably clean and clear. Beaver Dam frequently discharges water for power generation, making the White River behind an excellent place for trout fishing and float trips. When they are generating power, you can easily float 8 miles in just a few hours. Also, there are several guide service in the area and a plethora of fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing opportunities.
