A lovely property.
We were only in this property for a few hours as the day we arrived was the day that the Covid 19 lock down was announced so we returned home to Birmingham.
However for the short time that we were there we found the house to be clean and well equipped, just a short walk from the town centre and the river walks. There is a lovely conservatory on the rear overlooking the garden which would have been very much used in the wonderful weather that we have had since the lock down. I'm sure that we will return when this problem with the virus is resolved and we'll be able to enjoy the property and the exceptional town of Hay on Wye.
Thank you very much David for your review and Sam so sorry that your planned stay coincided with the lock down.... I hope to book you a stay in the autumn to compensate for the days that you missed, all the best, Mike.
Short but sweet
Really good. Will stay again
Thank you Gaye for the kind words and I hope that your journey back was good. Kind regards Mike
The property was warm, clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The Welsh cakes and milk that were waiting for us when we arrived were very much appreciated, as well. Thank you
A great stay in Hay on Wye
A welcoming modern cottage with on site parking. Our second stay in this lovely house, perfectly placed for access to the town centre. The house is perfectly appointed, very comfortable beds, at the end of a quiet cul de sac with a large conservatory and a private garden.
Many thanks for your lovely review of your stay, much appreciated.
Cosy comfortable cottage very close to Hay-on-Wye town
Cosy comfortable cottage with everything you need, in a quiet cul-de-sac 5 minutes walk to the lovely town of Hay-on-Wye with all its independent shops, restaurants, pubs & cafes. We loved the river walk & Warren so close by to take the dog each day. Walkers are spoilt for choice with the Offa’s Dyke and River Wye footpaths passing through Hay, and only 10 miles to a fabulous walk along Hergest Ridge. Added bonus is that everyone is so friendly.
Thank you very much Susan for your great review and we are delighted that you enjoyed Hay on Wye so much, all the best, Mike.
Hay on Wye is famous for second hand book shops , vintage and antique shops , and food. The beautiful surrounding countryside is ideal for walking , cycling, hiking and fishing. Many visitors also canoe on the Wye river.
