lovely apartment. Consider yourself lucky if you have found this listing. Sunsets (right from your living room or porch) are beyond words, amities excellent in the apartment and also right out your door (pool, whirlpool, beach below and lovely shops and restaurants close by.)

If you like the sound of the crashing waves, or watching surfers you are in for a special treat. The apartment has been beautifully renovated and very spacious especially for a 1 bedroom. The owners provided excellent customer service, answering any question we had and providing all that could be possibly needed for a relaxing and comfortable vacation. We usually do not rent the same place twice but we are already planning to rent again here.

The Perfect Getaway!

I came here with my family (husband, 5 year old, and 18 month old). We came here expecting to have a normal nice vacation, what we got was WAY MORE!!! This place is absolutely AMAZING! It's so comforting and homey feeling right when you walk in! It's beautifully decorated, The view is like nothing I've ever seen. Being able to sit and have breakfast at the kitchen table and look out at the Pacific was incredible! We also loved being able to sit out on the balcony at night and just listen to the ocean while having a glass of wine. The kids loved being able to choose whether they wanted to go to the pool or the beach or BOTH! The location of this property is great also, you can walk to get a coffee, cocktail, or something to eat. The San Diego Zoo and downtown San Diego are also a very short drive away!!! I went on a run one morning on the beach and saw a baby seal!! There are great hikes not far from this location either! We had such a beautiful experience at this property we DEFINITELY WILL be returning for another vacation! Not only was the property AMAZING, Eric was equally great to deal with!! He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay. I can NOT say enough great things about this place! My husband and I were so sad to leave this beautiful place, We could have stayed here for months!

We were thrilled with the experience. Fabulous views and the unit was bright and cheerfully.

It was a 5 star experience but the unit could use some renewal. The view is beautiful and you have a wide open view from inside. The furniture is comfortable but a little worn. I loved having the many extra supplies for the kitchen and beach. The towels were nice but the linnen is needing an upgrade. But I still felt it was a great place to stay. We would recommend it to our friends. We had a good response when we requested a refill of a couple of things. Beware that vbro price is deceptive and there are a lot of added tax and other costs.

Owner's Response: Unfortunately this guest had us running around for extra supplies TOILET PAPER AND KLEENEX, that we don't offer ( 2 rolls are provided AND ONE BOX TISSUE) THIS WAS AN EMERGENCY REQUEST. HOWEVER THIS IS NOT HOTEL. THERE IS A STORE THREE MINUTES WALKING The condo gets booked considerably and our housekeeper and myself view it often. the sheets look great, WHATS THE PROBLEM we only use 100 percent cotton and there are three new sets there This guest although rated us at 5 star... IMAGINE THAT! they were unhappy with the VRBO FEES (HOTELS HAVE FEES TOO) THEY ARE DIFFICULT AND DEMANDING TO PLEASE SURPISING UNHAPPY WITH HOMEAWAY/VRBO TOO WE ARE NOT DESIRING THEIR RETURN THEY SHOULD CONSIDER ANOTHER PLACE. PS CITY OF SOLANA BEACH TAXES GUESTS AND SO DOES CITY OF SAN DIEGO AND MOST OTHER COMMUNITIES that they were not wanting to purchase on their own.

A great location to watch surfers and sunsets! Convenient to all north San Diego county locations.

We enjoyed a thoroughly wonderful week at this condo in December 2017. Our experience mirrored everyone else who has written about this great property. The photos of the condo are an accurate reflection of the condo. The location is superb. It is at the top story of the complex directly overlooking the Pacific. You will see beautiful sunsets standing right on the balcony. The condo itself is clean, modern, well appointed. It is apparent that the owners take great pride in their condo and want their guests to have a great vacation. The pool and hot tub are easily accessible and also overlook the ocean. The parking space that comes with the condo is indoors and very close to the front door of the condo. You will be hard pressed to find another one bedroom condo in this highly desirable area that is in better condition with better owners. You will love it!

It is very close to Del Mar race track if you like the ponies. It is also very close the Torrey Pines State Reserve for great hiking opportunities and Torrey Pines Golf course. We hiked and played golf! There are many wonderful restaurants in Solana Beach and the neighboring beach communities. We can recommend Jake's in Del Mar, The Fish Market and Pamplemousse in Solana Beach.

Amazing view!!!!!

A fantastic space for a family getaway. My 5 and 6 year old enjoyed the beach and pool, there was plenty of space, and we had everything we needed to spend a week exploring the area. It was a quick drive to legoland, Belmont park, sea world and the zoo!

Sunset Perfection and Nice Location

My husband and I stayed here for a week in October. View from living room is one of a kind. Never tired of the daily sunset spectacular! Enjoyed watching surfers, dolphins and pelicans. This was a nice location for discovering the San Diego area. About 25 minutes to downtown without traffic and conveniently located to I-5. We covered lots in our week- Seaworld, La Jolla (my favorite), USS Midway, Old Town, Cabrillo Monument, Coronado, and both San Diego Zoo and Safari Park. There are some very nice restaruants in the area. I really liked Jake's Del Mar, great food and awesome view. Our first 2 days temperatures were 97 and a bit rough without AC but this was a very rare event. We found a fan in the closet which helped as well as cieling fans. Bed was very comfy and shower was huge. Was very nice having designated space in parking garage. Booking and access instructions were very clear. Wifi worked great and both tvs were very nice. Didn't get a chance to watch Netflix since the World Series was our nightly viewing for the week. Washer dryer were perfect for a small load and many extra items like beach chairs and umbrellas in closet. We really enjoyed our stay.
