Amazing!!!

  • 5 of 5

I just want to say this place was simply amazing! Way better than I could have ever expected! I rented the cabin for me and my wife's anniversary, and it was a perfect place to do so. The cabin was perfect and clean! It is a small cabin, but with the vaulted ceilings it feels huge! Plenty of deck space out back to hold plenty of people or to just relax by the water! We brought our son and dog, they may have enjoyed it more than we did. The owner of the cabin lives next door and they are very nice and friendly. If you need anything they will get it for you, minus diapers lol They didn't have those. But, the store isn't to far out from the cabin and there are tons of things to do in the area plus all of the great places within a hour or tow driving distance. Yeah, the cell reception was spotty, but it was nice to disconnect and there was free wifi at the cabin and all around the area. We plan on going back plenty of more times in the future! Maybe this time in te summer so we can get out on the water more, and we will definitely stay a lot longer! Overall if your looking for a great place to stay thats not a hotel. Than this is the place!!!

Owner's Response: I'm thrilled these guests enjoyed themselves and they are 100% correct. This home truly gives everyone the feeling of The Northern Michigan experience especially being in the middle of an area which is referred to VACATIONLAND! Way too many things to do in the area and at the home, then finish the night in the hot tub checking out the stars!

Owner's Response: This neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing, most homes in the neighborhood are second homes and not lived in all year 'round so you can pretty much have the whole lake to yourself especially during the week!

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have been any happier with our stay at this property. The home of as very cozy and had all the amenities we could have imagined. Absolutely loved the hot tub and the fire pit. The landscaping and the yard was just beautiful. It was also nice being on an all sport lake but yet it was small enough that it wasn't busy or crowded, even on the weekend. The house is situated on a channel which I thought was perfect. All around great experience and would highly recommend it to everyone. Thanks you to the owner and to Doreen for making this such a wonderful family vacation. We are very grateful!

HOME WITHOUT THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE

  • 5 of 5

My husband and myself rented the wolves den over this Memorial Weekend. We brought along our 12year old daughter who brought her toy poodle and a friend. Also our 21year old son came for a night with his girlfriend. Just a short drive to a Meijer or Walmart for any needed supplies. We had absolutely everything we needed from a slow cooker to dish network (not that it was used). The cabin is beautiful with a very nice hot tub and located on a great lake. We took our pontoon and went on the lake several times daily as well as enjoyed the community pool which just opened that weekend. The community is full of wonderful neighbors with just the right amount of fun and respect combined. Our children have a bit of an age gap and they both had a great time with lots to do. If you do have a golf cart, quad or side by side - I would recommend bringing it with. Nice private community to cruise around. We all went on a horse trail ride just a few miles up the road that was really neat. I also do have to say that our cabin and the neighbors have some of the most beautiful landscape on the lake. Customer service was outstanding with super fast response speed. I would definitely recommend this location to family and friends.
