About Melanie Cornejo

We are outdoor enthusiasts who love Mammoth almost more in the summer than we do in the winter (but it's a close one)!

Melanie Cornejo purchased this townhome in 2002

Why Melanie Cornejo chose Mammoth Mountain

We purchased this property thinking that maybe someday we would move to Mammoth for good. That hasn't happened yet, but it has been a wonderful place for our family to grow into. With ample sleeping space, we've enjoyed our time up there with all of our friends and family.

What makes this townhome unique

On site at Mammoth Sierra Townhomes, you will have access to 2 jacuzzis and a sauna. The best time of year to use the jacuzzis is in the winter after a long day on the mountain with the snowfall surrounding the jacuzzi. You'll feel like you're in paradise! During the summer, you will have access to the pool and BBQ area for outdoor entertaining.

Awesome place! Perfect for 2 families, walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, & bus stop

  • 5 of 5

We had such a great time at this condo! There were 9 of us, 5 kids & 4 adults and there was plenty of room. Everything worked well, including a hot water heater that held enough water for two tired moms to take long, relaxing showers without running out of hot water. The location was perfect, too. This condo is the very first unit in the complex, so it was really easy to get to. The snow piled up all around the unit, so the kids had plenty of snow to play in right in the front yard. The unit is stocked with a Keurig, regular coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, microwave, blender, crock pot, and lots more. Towels and bedding were all very clean and comfortable. Wifi & TV worked the whole time. Everything was very organized and easy to find. The owner was friendly in communication and very easy to get a hold of. We had a blast here and absolutely recommend it!

Clean, spacious, and a great location!

  • 4 of 5

This unit was very clean and had all the amenities of home. Pair that up with a great location in town, and you have a great vacation experience. This unit is right across from the jacuzzi and super close to the shuttle stop. Ski rentals were a short walk away (Alpine Sports), and the shopping center is very close as well. I would highly recommend this unit and look forward to booking it again in the future

Perfect Stay In Mammoth For Large Group

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of 6 people and this place was so perfect. Melanie was very fast to respond and the place was extremely clean and the perfect location. It's extremely close to Vons and a few different bus stops. We loved the fireplace and the jacuzzi at night and it was great having a nice kitchen to cook in

Everything we needed in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at Melanie's place in Mammoth! It was perfect for our group of 8. The house was fully stocked with everything you need for cooking meals. It was also nice to have a bathroom per room. The location is perfect, a short walk to the Vons shopping center and the shuttle stop. Would recommend to anyone visiting Mammoth and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay and lots of room

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here just last week. Large unit w beds for all guests. Kitchen has all the items needed to cook all meals. There was a gap between stove and wall, recommend covering it with a board to prevent things from falling down and to improve appearance. Great coffee maker which was perfect for early risers and cold mornings. Living room good size for gatherings and board games. Fireplace easy to use and clean. Warms up 2nd floor and loft well.

Appreciated the 3 full baths, makes a big difference. Beds are comfortable. Unit was very clean. We did find multiple spiders but that's it.

Unit has super easy access. I walked to Vons a few times. We drove to chair 15, very quick, just a straight shot down Meridian Blvd. Code lock makes it easy for family members to come and go without worrying who has the key.

Would be happy to return next time.

Thank you!

Owner's Response: I'm so happy that you enjoyed your stay! You certainly had Mother Nature on you side in the snow department!! I agree that it is a wonderful location given the quick access to so many great stores and restaurants. That is especially important during heavy snow times when walking seems like a better option than digging your car out:) Sorry for the spider situation, I'm not sure what happened there, but we were the last ones up there over the Thanksgiving break so a few weeks without anyone in it inevitably invites unwanted guests. A 2nd home is always a work in progress, so our plan is to continue with our renovations this summer, including updating the cabinetry and countertops in the kitchen. We would love to have you return next year to see our progress. In the meantime, this will be a long ski season, so you may as well make your spring trip plans now! Cheers!!

Car: not necessary

Located in the heart of Mammoth Lakes, our townhouse cabin is centrally located for easy access to everything you could ever imagine doing in Mammoth.

Without the use of a car, you can get nearly everywhere in town. There are two very convenient, free shuttle stops within one block that will take you to all the lodges on the mountain, as well as the Village and gondola. Additionally, a one to three block walk will get you to the Vons, several wonderful restaurants, and a variety of shopping options.

The Village in Mammoth boasts nine different food and beverage establishments, as well as fifteen different retailers for your dining and shopping enjoyment. Food and beverage offerings range from simple and sweet to sophisticated. Retailers offer a variety of items from childrens apparel to men and womens resort wear, and more!

In addition to hosting Mammoth's finest dining and shopping, the gondola runs in and out of the Village during the ski season, picking up visitors and skiers and taking them up to Canyon Lodge. During the summer months The Village is Mammoth's premier event destination. They offer weekly movies, concerts, and a variety of activities!

Mammoth Mountain is a world class ski and snowboard resort with the highest summit of any California resort at 11,053 feet. This frequently results in Mammoth uniquely creating its own storm system, making for deeper, higher quality snow, beautiful views and a season that can last until July. With 3,500 skiable acres, 400 inches of snowfall and an average of 300 days of sunshine per year, Mammoth has earned its reputation as California’s only real big mountain skiing/riding experience.

If you're looking for other options during the winter, take the kids to check out Wolly's Tube Park, go ice skating outdoors at Mammoth Ice Rink, take a snowmobile or snowcat tour, visit Tamarack Lodge for some cross country skiing or snowshoeing, or take a scenic gondola ride for spectacular views of the Minarets.

During the summer, the options are endless! Mammoth Lakes is an outdoor enthusiasts heaven. Surrounded by several lakes, rivers and streams, Mammoth is famous for its world class trout fishing. Spend the day at Convict Lake or Lake Mary enjoying a cool dip in the water under the warm summer sun. Rent a SUP, kayak or pontoon boat and relive your days at summer camp. Visit the Mammoth Mountain Main Lodge for some zip-lining, rock climbing, and downhill mountain biking. From the Main Lodge, you can access the shuttle to take you on an easy walk to see Devil's Postpile, a short hike to Rainbow Falls, or gain access to the intersection of the Pacific Crest and John Muir trails. While here, stop in at the cafe at Red's Meadow for a delicious piece of pie!

From our doorstep, to the Tioga Pass entrance of Yosemite National Park is 40 miles. Visit the eastern side of Yosemite park you've never seen before at Tuolumne Meadows, for a beautiful hike. Or drive an hour further to reach the unparalleled Yosemite Valley.

During the summer, Mammoth is also the host to several festivals, including the Bluesapalooza, the Wine & Music Festival, and several more.

So whether your idea of a great day is drinking a hot toddy in the resort lounge or packed full of adventure, Mammoth Lakes is the place for you!
