This turn-of-the-century craftsman rambler has been lovingly restored and maintained. Central air conditioning was added last summer and it is AMAZING. There is always plenty of parking, with two spaces off-street in the driveway and more on two sides of the house. Each bedroom has high quality queen beds, suitcase stands, and easy access to bathrooms. The front bedroom has a pocket door to its full bath, the two rear bedrooms share a bath via a common hallway. The kitchen, dining room, deck, and living room flow easily from one room to the next, making family gatherings comfortable. Access to the deck, just off the dining room, is via double French doors. There is a full-size gas grill, table, large umbrella, and seating on the deck. Finally, if you want your pet to be outside and secure, the back courtyard, between the house and garage, is fenced and has quick access from either the deck or the back door.
The Kerby Bungalow is in North Portland's Piedmont district, just a few minutes from I-5, 20 minutes from the airport, and 10-15 minutes from downtown Portland. Several of Portland's most popular restaurant districts are just minutes away.
Portland is bike friendly and you can bike to the downtown riverfront and Esplanade trails in about 20 minutes (let us know if you want to secure your bikes in the garage). Mount Hood, Multnomah Falls, Mt Saint Helens, and coastal beaches can all be reached in day trips.
