About Cindy Hannah

Welcome to A Secluded Bearadise

On Sept 5, 1998 Gary and I met and just 6 weeks later, on Oct 24, 1998 we were married here in Gatlinburg. Our favorite times were spent staying in a secluded cabin here in the Smokey Mountains and we did so as often as we could.

Sadly, in 2009 Gary passed away unexpectedly. I couldn’t think of a better way to remember our great times in the Smokey’s than to buy my own little cabin in the woods. So, on Oct 1, 2012, I purchased “A Secluded Bearadise.

I hope you will enjoy it and love it as much as I do. I am blessed to have you share it with me and make your own wonderful memories in my little cabin in the woods. There is something magical about these mountains and I love them so.

Many Blessings,

Cindy Hannah

Cindy Hannah purchased this cabin in 2011

Why Cindy Hannah chose East

I grew up in the Mountains of NC and always loved the mountains and they will always hold a piece of my heart. I moved away after high school to Charlotte NC.

I raised my family in Charlotte but after my husband's death, I found the mountains calling my name again. So, I began my search. In Oct 2012 I purchased A Secluded Bearadise. After looking and looking the moment I walked in the door, I knew my search was over and I had found my cabin in the woods.

I had my 2 yr old grand daughter with me at the time and she immediately crawled in the cubby holes, pulled the curtain and started giggling. I named those cubbies Yogi and Boo Boo's Den and they are always a hit with the the parents and small children.

I stripped out most of the decor and made it 'my own'. I added a new leather sofa bed and love seat. I purchased new bedding with Egyptian linens and towels. I added a massage chair in the master bedroom for relaxation after a day of hiking or shopping. I remodeled the kitchen with granite counter tops and added a new Amish made dining set.

In the process, I also added a new 30' deck and replaced the old hot tub with a brand new 6 person tub. I bought a new charcoal grill and added outdoor rocking chairs and dining set.

A Secluded Bearadise is truly my second home and I take great pride in it's cleanliness. I hope you enjoy it and love it as much as I do.

Best Cabin the SM's!

  • 5 of 5

Cindy, the owner of this cabin, is AMAZING to work with! She strives to make sure that each and every guest is taken care of to the fullest extent. The cabin is well-stoked with everything you need to make yourself at home. It's perfect for a couple's getaway, or a week with the kids (we've stayed here twice and done both!). The kids LOVED the private 'movie theater,' and Cindy has a large selection of DVD's on hand that are family-friendly. EVERYTHING is clean -- she makes sure of that. The views are spectacular, and you have a view from all three decks out back. You seriously won't regret staying here!

Great quiet, secluded cabin in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 3 days, 2 nights in late March 2017. My wife and I, and our 3 kids. The cabin was very clean, everything was in order and functioning (arcade game, hot tub, DVD, sound system). It has somewhat centrally located, if there is such a thing, about 20 minutes from both Galtinburg and Pigeon Forge. It was great to get away, and we had nice peaceful stay. Thank you Cindy!

Clean and cozy!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was exactly as described and reviews were spot on. Our family of seven had plenty of room. The kids loved yogi and boo boo's dens. The driveway really is steep, but our minivan made it up just fine.

We enjoyed our stay and liked the close proximity to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The hot tub and game room was a big hit for our daughter. Nice relaxing week!

Nicest Cabin we have stayed at in SkyHarbor

  • 5 of 5

The Cabin was great. Many times the pictures look great but when you get to a cabin you can tell that they were taken long ago and there now are several maintenance issues, or the furniture is run down etc. This was not the case with our stay a Secluded Bearadise. The only item that wasn't working was the massage chair and that was due to a recent previous guest breaking it. We stay in Gatlinburg every year after Christmas and Cindy had the Cabin nicely decorated for the holidays. We have small children (9mth old twins) and the high chair, pack and play and all the toys where great. Our older boys (7 &14) loved the pool table and the arcade. Again this was the nicest, cleanest and best maintained cabin we have stayed at over the last 4 or 5 year in coming here. Cindy was great we had a stray dog show up that didn't like me and snapped and growled at us. This prevent us for leaving the Cabin when we were supposed to check out. Cindy worked with her cleaning and maintenance staff to help get the dog to its owner and us out of the Cabin. She was quick to answer calls and e-mails and to be honest we could not of asked for a better host or nicer cabin. It was a great time.

wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was over the Christmas holiday of 2016. The owner had the cabin decorated for Christmas and not just with a simple tree, but garland on the outside banister and other decorated trees throughout and small Christmas touches. The cabin was supplied with several amenities that as a crock pot and other kitchen appliances not usually provided. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

A Secluded Bearadise is in the prefect Smoky Mountain Location. It's located in the Sky Harbor development which is centrally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Both town are about 8-10 miles away. There is also a back entrance that takes you to the heart of Gatlinburg's Arts and Crafts Community.

The cabin is located in an established cabin community called Sky Harbor. Each cabin is private so you don't have to worry about privacy while on your decks eating dinner, chatting or soaking in the hot tub.

Pigeon Forge is known for her activities and social life. Within a few minutes you will find some of the best entertainment in the country. There are numerous Live Theaters, Comedy Shows, Dinner Theaters and Amusement parks. Just a few of my favorites are: Country Tonight, Smith Family Theater, Dollywood, Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, Hatfield and McCoys, The Comedy Barn, Titanic and Dixie Stampede.

Pigeon Forge also has numerous thrill rides such as bungee jumping, roller coasters, zip lining, indoor sky diving, go carts racing and much more. For the guest looking for a more relaxed vacation you will find horseback riding, putt putt, the newly opened 'Island' which offers restaurants, music, kiddie rides and shopping.

The Smokies are also known for it's annual festivals such as the Craft Show in Gatlinburg and it's Hot Rod and Antique Car shows that come to Pigeon Forge each year. You will also find some of the best outlets in the country as well such as the Tanger Outlet, Knifeworks, Country Western Attire, Lodge Cast Iron Outlet and many many more.

You can't come to the Smokies without experiencing it's country cooking. Some of my favorite restaurants are The Old Mill, Catfish, Mama's Kitchen, the Chocolate Monkey and of course you can't come to Pigeon Forge without visiting the Apple Barn Restaurant and shops. The Apple Barn has been awarded best restaurant in the Smokies year after year.

In downtown Gatlinburg you will find a 'walking town' with numerous shops, restaurants and activities. Gatlinburg offers the Ripley's Aquarium, Ripley's Believe it or not, Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and the chairlift that takes you to the top of the mountain where you can look down of the view of Gatlinburg.

The Knoxville Airport is about an hour from the cabin. A Secluded Bearadise offers a two car paved driveway, however the driveway is quite steep. You can easily make a 3 point turn at the top though to drive back down the drive.
