Enjoy this nice Apache Junction jewel. Just remodeled Oct-Nov 2014, new tile, new paint, new A/C unit, new faucets, fully furnished with vintage furniture. Kingsize canopy 4 poster bed in master with 3 large closets, queensize bed in 2nd bedroom with one large closet. Two full bathrooms on opposite ends of home, 1 is wheelchair accessable as is the carport entry. Full kitchen includes all appliances, linens, pots, pans. Large laundry room, Washer/Dryer, 2 car carport, storage room and shed. 16 beautiful palm trees on property as well as an orange tree and a combination lemon/tangerine tree.



We get a lot of inquiries for 1, 2 ,3 and even 4 month long stays from our winter visitors, asking for a discount for the extended stays. Due to the high demand during the winter months, we do not offer discounted monthly rates. We will rent the casita for as many days as you request, but our winter DAILY rate applies. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Why Kerry or Kathy Vail chose Apache Junction

We recently purchased this property from the 99 year old original owner. This Farnsworth home was originally built in 1976, it is a solid slump block design. We updated a few things while trying to maintain it's retro vintage flavor. It is in a great area, just off the Old West Highway, very near the 'Y' in downtown Apache Junction.

What makes this house unique

We love the small town environment that also has access to the 'big city' if need be. Apache Junction has many activities and is nearby some of the best places Arizona has to offer. We are close to all the local Apache Junction attractions that draw the winter visitors each year. We also live nearby and we are usually available in case you need any assistance to help you enjoy your stay.

Exactly as advertised. Clean and comfortable.

Perfect for two of us to relax . Also location was perfect for us to enjoy Apache Junction activities (hiking , lakes, restruants...)

Will be better when remodeled.

The home was ok but the proposed remodeling should help. The retro kitchen was functional. The living room furniture very uncomfortable and did smell like old smoke. The toilet in bathroom near bedrooms did not flush well at all, owners were aware of this, as well as the patio door lock is broken. Owners were very quick to respond. This home is located on a very busy corner, and a neighbor has a very loud barking dog. The king bed was very comfortable.

Clean and Spacious

Clean, convenient and spacious. Spent 3 nights with 2 others as we there to simply play golf all day. Owner needed to help us out a couple times and was very quick to respond and help out. Very reasonable compared to other places we looked into.

Great location

This house is very convenient to get to the places we wanted to go. We slept on the king bed and it was very comfortable. The house had all of the amenities we wanted. We liked the retro kitchen.

Great location for us. It was pretty easy to find.

The Vails are so nice. This is our second time staying at their houses. They are on call whenever you need something. The Royal Palm home was clean and everything was in working order. Nice neighborhood as I met a couple of people who live nearby. As country folks we adjusted to city life and enjoyed our stay.
