Good location, wonderful view. The condo is spacious, nicely decorated, well appointed.
We enjoyed the huge lanai, the large rooms, the kitchen had everything. And having the snorkel gear was great. The only drawback was there was supposed to be a sofa bed so that 6 could stay. When we went to open the sofa bed we found that it was just a couch. And it had an old sock, pieces of candy and food under the cushions. But the overall stay was great!
Awesome view! Good place to stay!
The view was incredible. Across the street from the ocean and overlooking gorgeous sunsets from the huge balcony which you could access from a bedroom or from the living room. The two beds were very comfortable, as was the deluxe air mattress which was used because there were five of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were lots of towels, pillows, linens, detergent and hand soap. It was quiet at night with the doors closed and the AC on. We got the key from a lockbox and that worked fine; never met the owner which was fine too. I did email and phone the owner a few times and she was available and answered all my questions. The location was great for our needs because it was central to both the north and south Kona coasts, and only 20 minutes from the airport. The only "negative" and it wasn't that bad, was that the decor was dated and the place was well lived in. The carpets were stained and ripping in some places. The cabinets were well used and a little sticky. The dishes were scratched. The dishwasher was old. To me, it felt like staying at a relatives' house so it was fine. But if you're looking for luxury, modern, new, that's not what you'll get here. But the rest was perfect!
Lots to see and do on this island - within walking distance of the local Farmer's Market too.
