Great place on the lake!

  • 5 of 5

If your looking for luxurious 5 star lodging this is not the place for you, however if you're into a cozy place on the water for great family fun then look no further! This cabin is at a perfect location on Priest River which, at this location, is pretty much a lake. Beautiful sunset views from the large deck. The water was warm & calm, and we played in it for hours. Brian was a great host and very accommodating, having access to kayaks, paddle boards etc. made it even more enjoyable. Good proximity to Sand Point as well as Silverwood and Coeur D'alene for easy day trips. All the amenities you need are provided including dishes, towels and a great BBQ. No wifi, but with all our activities we didn't miss it. Would definitely recommend for families with kids or even a "guys" weekend.

Beautiful outdoor setting for families of all ages

  • 4 of 5

There are so many water toys to use for kids and adults(including life jackets). We paddled all over the cove as well as boating up the river. Great location for skiing and tubing. The water temp was 75 and very comfortable. The kids loved hopping in the hot tub after the wind cooled them down from swimming.

So many movies to choose from (VHS and some DVD). A few games and cards to play.

The sleeping situation was the only challenge. The room with the queen, twin and double is in an open loft directly above the other bedroom (queen) and the floor is super squeaky. Don't try to go to sleep until the upstairs crew has completely settled. The detached room was great for having a place to go but got very cold (feels like camping).

The kitchen had everything we needed and was well stocked -

The whole experienced was wonderful and leaving us wanting more time on the river.

fun and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful long weekend at Brian's riverside cabin. The listing matched the description and pictures perfectly. We rented this property because of all the water toys and we were not disappointed, we spent almost no time inside. The property was clean and Brian was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to spend a weekend on the water!

Amazing Time!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Brian's Cabin the end of July and had a great time. We loved the waterslide, all the water toys and made use of them daily. We also enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. The Kitchen was well equipped and because my family and brother's family were there we utilized both refrigerators. We were worried we would be cramped but the large upper deck and large patio plus the cabin space and grassy areas allowed us all to have areas to hang out and enjoy the amazing view. We brought two boats and the water was perfect for tubing and wakeboarding as it was generally very calm with a few boaters here and there. My son caught 14 fish from the dock over the course of 6 days and was in heaven. We would love to return!!

Best vacation ever!!!

  • 5 of 5

To say this cabin and breathtaking waterfront exceeded our expectations is a huge understatement! Our family spent 5 nights and from sun up to sun down we took advantage of all the amenities Brian's home has to offer...the kids from 2 to 18 loved being on the water! The slide was a hit with everyone. They used everything! We fished, swam, learned to stand up paddle, canoe, kyak and paddle boat!! We enjoyed the deck for dining and having our morning coffee. As promised, the cabin and upper deck was cool under the pines. We had everything thing we needed to cook meals for the 10 of us. The hot tub was nice to warm up in. Don't bother bringing movies, as there is a huge variety to chose from! I hope this is available next summer too!! We made memories we will cherish forever!

Great Getaway w/Fun In the River

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for 4 nights in June 2016, everything went smoothly from the start. Brian (the owner) was very accommodating & the property was as described online. The home itself was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable., the hot tub was private and very enjoyable after spending a day on the water with the toys that he provides at his beach. It's a true treasure. Thank you again, to you both, for helping us relax and getting away from the life of the city. We are very grateful!
