Mary's Lake Mountain Home is a newly constructed LEED Certified home (built 2014), Estes Park Vacation Home Business License #1534. It is a beautiful modern rustic home that features spectacular mountain views and has been designed to accommodate your every vacation need. It is the perfect setting for honeymoons, weddings, family reunions and other special occasions. Relax outside in comfort on the large covered deck or inside in the large Great Room to enjoy the panoramic mountain views and wildlife that frequent the adjoining meadow.

Our comfortable and spacious home sleeps 8 adults/children in 4 bedrooms with room for up to 2 infants in pack n plays that are provided; 3 1/2 baths, and a fully equipped laundry room including washer & dryer, utility sink, iron, ironing board. It provides ample space for a large family or even two families vacationing together. The unique design features two Master King bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom and 1 twin bunk bedroom. There is central air conditioning, WIFI, ceiling fans and cable. LED HD TVs in all Bedrooms and Great Room, USB outlets in Kitchen and Bedrooms and a game room with a streaming smart enabled WIFI-built in blu-ray DVD player. The Great Room also has a Blu-ray DVD player. Dining & Entertainment is only a short five minute walk to the historic Mary’s Lake Lodge. This mountain rental property is a perfect location for those attending a wedding at the lodge or those who want to enjoy a night out without having to drive. There is a free shuttle pickup location at nearby Mary’s Lake Lodge to various downtown points of interest during summer season.

Mary's Lake Mountain Home is centrally located within 4 miles of the Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) Moraine Park entrance and 4 miles to downtown Estes Park. It is located far enough away from the traffic and congestion of downtown Estes Park that occurs during peak season to be very peaceful but close enough to be able to get to both the town and park quickly. In addition to its close proximity to RMNP and downtown Estes Park, it is only a short 3 mile ride from the rental property along the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway (aka Colorado Highway 7) to explore the nature and beauty of Lily Lake. A local favorite, Lilly Lake is an ideal location for a picnic or a walk around the lake on the loop trail that is a great hike for the entire family.

On the main level is the following: a large Master Bedroom featuring a king sized bed, mission style furniture, a walk-in closet stocked with a pack-n-play, high chair and child booster seat, 32” LED Smart HD cable TV, master bathroom with double vanity and walk-in shower with bench seat; a Powder room featuring a custom rustic sink and toilet; a large open Great Room with a kitchen fully stocked with the gourmet cook in mind and many kitchen extras for wedding or special occasion entertainment needs; there is also an information board in the kitchen with USB plugs to hold and charge your cellphones/tablets, hang your keys/important papers and a white board to write notes and messages; a custom rustic dining table that seats eight comfortably with additional seating around the kitchen island; a living room with a gas fireplace accented by a custom mantle, a large ceiling fan flanked by rustic wood ceiling beams, 40” LED Smart HD cable TV, comfortable leather sectional and leather chairs to provide ample seating to relax and unwind. The Great Room has large windows to take in the panoramic views and access to a large covered deck that boasts a large propane grill and comfortable seating to take in the mountain views, wildlife in the meadow, bird watching or stargazing at night.

On the lower level is the following: a large Master Bedroom featuring a king sized bed, custom made rustic aspen furniture, a 32” LED HD cable TV, mountain & meadow views, a master bathroom with a shower/tub; a bedroom with a queen sized bed, custom made rustic beetle kill pine furniture, a 24” LED HD cable TV, access to a jack and jill bathroom with walk-in shower that can be locked off for its own personal bathroom suite; a bedroom with twin Murphy Bunk Beds with mountain & meadow views that also serves as a game room containing a writing desk, 32” LED HD cable TV with a streaming smart enabled WIFI-built in blu-ray player, bean bag chairs, chess/checkers/backgammon game table and many other board games and DVDs for the kids; a large laundry room with washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, folding table, full length mirror with plenty of room to shake out formal attire and dress the wedding party. We also have an additional pack n play available upon request that can be set up in the lower level Master Bedroom or Bedroom/Gameroom. The Bedroom/Game Room has windows to take in the mountain and meadow views and access to a covered patio with a custom made wooden picnic table which is an ideal retreat to take in the mountain views, wildlife in the meadow, bird watching or stargazing at night.

Happily married for 20 years. We have been residents of the front range of Colorado for many years and enjoy nature, hiking and mountain living. Our favorite mountain destination has always been Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park so we moved to Estes Park in 2014 and intend to live out our days here. We want others to experience this mountain paradise so we built this rental home.

We built this property to have plenty of room for a family vacation or two families vacationing together. It features a large Great Room where the whole family can get together to enjoy a meal, relax by the fireplace, or enjoy the spectacular mountain views through the large windows. It also has a large covered deck and covered patio where you can relax and enjoy the mountain views, wildlife in the meadow, bird watching or stargazing at night.

Lovely Estes Park Condo

Four family members spent three nights at this well appointed very clean home during the last week of September 2017. The views are magnificent, kitchen well supplied with essential cleaning and cooking supplies, beds very comfortable, entire house up to date in vacation needs, and prompt owner support. The highlight was watching two very determined bull elk battle it out for a herd of females just 300 feet from the back deck. A sight never to forget! We heartily recommend this delightful rental in Estes Park.

A very enjoyable place

The location being at the intersection of Hwy 7 (which runs to the east end of town) and Mary's Lake Rd (which runs to the west end of town and right by the entry to the National Park), we were able to avoid the slow intown traffic just about every time.

The owner had everything set for us on our arrival to a lovely home. The view from the deck is delicious. The home is very nicely furnished and had all the kitchen implements one could want. The beds were very comfortable. He also has a very nice selection of DVDs available for viewing.

The traffic noise was somewhat distracting, but not enough that we will not return to enjoy this home.

The property is conveniently located next to all the Estes Park attractions. It is located less than 4 miles from both downtown Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance.
