About the property

Stay at one of the most unique and breathtaking places in louisville. Open the door to this 1,400 square foot upper floor loft, with 12 foot ceilings, and in front of you is an entire wall of windows overlooking downtown and the falls of the ohio river. The windows are over 40 feet in length and 8 feet in height. Every day i wake up deliriously happy because the first thing i see in the morning is this view, and i stay that way all day for the same reason. I would love for you to experience this during your time in louisville!

Great lofts, location, and service

  • 5 of 5

Everything was smooth and easy, the lofts were perfect for our 12-person group. I would highly recommend Sarah's lofts to anyone.

Dungeon like abode.

  • 1 of 5

The location would easily earn two stars.

The property is extremely overated. An up town loft is not what I would have described this property as. The location is not user friendly at all. This portion of town seems to close up and lock its doors at 5pm. Plan on a long hike to find dinner after 5pm. The apartment was gloomy in appearance with the obvious warehouse décor. The ceiling has paint pealing off and uncovered junction boxes with visible electrical wiring. with There were multiple lights switched in each room with one or two that actually worked. The small hallway where the closet was located didn't have a light at all. I had to use the light on my phone to put my clothes away. The kitchen and bathroom area were modern and user friendly but again, dark and gloomy with minimal lighting. The staff were friendly and cooperate at check in and met me at the door and provided building and parking passes, but checking out I was on my own. I had to use my parking pass to exit the garage and then find a place to park at a meter and run in back in to the Security desk.

Overall not an appealing stay. I have asked my company to remove this from our list of business stay locations, but to feel free to recommend it to the inlaws that you hold a grudge against.

Great loft

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a great time! The loft is great with all the advertised amenities. The kitchen had nice equipment with all the basics. (Except wine glasses but we managed !) We were a little intimidated by some of the high tech stuff in the loft but considering no one in our group even owns a smart phone we did pretty good. Sarah was able to answer our tech questions. Sarah was very easy to work with and upgraded our loft and allowed for flexible check in and check out. We enjoyed the building the loft is in. It is in walking distance to museums and reastraunts.

We would recently stay again!

Great view and wonderful accommodations

  • 5 of 5

My two friends and I were looking for a quick stop overnight in Louisville as we were traveling along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. This was a great location, within walking distance to good restaurants, and the check-in and check-out process was a breeze. We were able to park our car right across the street. The view of the Ohio River was great too! Wonderful and we would stay again.

4 Nights and I didn't want to leave

  • 5 of 5

I'm serious, if I could afford it, I would have loved to continue renting this loft for a long time.

The building was a historic glass manufacturing facility and a lot of the elements of the original building were still visible or employed in the updated design which made it uniquely beautiful. I really loved how two old factory doors were mounted on the walls outside the elevator on our floor.

The beds in this loft are set up with 2 beds as you come in the door which are separated from the living area and 2 beds out in the living area (these 2 beds were an additional cost per night). THE BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE - I had to ask for a link to buy some for my house. It is definitely communal since there are no doors on any room except the bathroom. I stayed with my friend and my two daughters so that was fine for us.

The living area was very cozy and furnished with minimal but very nice Ikea furniture. The kitchen was well equipped for basic cooking including supplied coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, and bottled water (in the fridge). The large windows in the living area lit the place nicely - we only turned lights on in the late evening.

We traveled to Louisville for a music event which we enjoyed during the day but we were equally happy to spend time relaxing at the loft in the evening watching movies. The TV allowed you to log in to Netflix and Amazon accounts which was really nice.

Most important to making this stay a total win was the fact that Sarah and the security staff that helped us while we were there were wonderful. Sarah's communication about everything, before, during and after our stay, was excellent. She does this whole VRBO thing flawlessly.
