About Tara Little
We met in Texas 26 years ago, moved to Central Oregon 10 years ago. The farm has been our dream since the beginning. Although we never have lived there, it has been our home away from home. We live down the road. Families and friends who stayed, never wanted to leave and left with inspiration, peace and really good memories! We wanted to share the special experience.
Tara Little purchased this House in 2007
Why Tara Little chose Terrebonne
We love Terrebonne. It is just close enough to the cities for fun and convenience, yet far enough from the crowds for adventure or retreat. We are available 24/7 for maintenance or suggestions. Deschutes Certificate of Authority #1207
What makes this House unique
The farm has horses and many different types of trees with a lawn surrounding the house. It's great for groups, families, reunions, couples and many others who want to capture the Central Oregon experience. The inside of the home is cozy and understated, urging one to relax, celebrate or plan excursions.

Perfect for a medium group of climbers
It’s closer to smith rock than many other similar places. It’s warm. Has plenty of warm water (9 adults all took showers in the evening). The provided towels are the best I’ve used in a Vrbo. And the owners are respectful, helpful, and very good communicators.
Very quiet and peaceful home
This is a nice home out in the country with neighbors a good 1000 yards off. Very quiet and peaceful, the owners are very accommodating, if your looking for a peaceful place to relax in the country, this is the place.
The outlying fields were peaceful and offered great sun sets. The house was clean and luxurious.
The house was easy to find for someone unfamiliar with the area. It was great to see the eclectic collection of vehicles and other equipment as I was pulling in. Inside was very spacious and clean. there was sleeping choices for lots of different folks such as altar-abled and poor sleepers. Smith rock was super close and easy to find.
Beautiful house, beautiful environment
We toured the '7 Wonders of Oregon' after watching the spectacular total solar eclipse near Salem, and we stayed at Eric & Tara's farmhouse in Terrebonne as we toured Central Oregon. The house looks plain from the outside (and obscured by trees) but it's beautiful inside. It is very spacious for our group of 6 and the young adults particularly enjoyed playing snooker and air hockey in the living room. The expansive farm outside provides a very refreshing feeling, and it makes one feel good to be in a quiet environment, away from the bustle and hustle of the cities. The house is located very close to one of the 7 Wonders: literally minutes drive away from Smith Rock which is definitely a wonder worth exploring. Tara is also very helpful. I highly recommend this place for folks looking for a vacation with a real change of scene from the usual city highlights.
We can fully recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a roomy house with all the facilities you could want.
The location is perfect amongst the farmlands of central Oregon. Smith Rock State Park is visible, just a couple of miles away for superlative hiking and rock climbing. The nearby mountains of the Cascades are also inviting.
Along with Tara's lovely welcome we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again should we visit the area in the future.
Beautiful farm property, amazing sunset, worth the extra few minuets drive to the edge of town!
We enjoyed the extra space this home has to offer, our kids really enjoyed the pool table! Overall, a nice weekend.
