About Garey

As a native of Sarasota, I grew up riding horses on Siesta Key and building bonfires on the beach at night with my friends. Things have changed a lot but I would never think of leaving. I love the Key as much now as I did then.

Garey purchased this condo in 1988

Why Garey chose Siesta Key

This is reminiscent of a lazier time in Florida when things moved more slowly and revolved around beach walking, sunsets and drinks with friends. This is not Corporate Condo living. This is a unique cottage (much as you would see in Key West) for guests who enjoy the flavor of 'Old' Florida.

What makes this condo unique

How could you beat being right across the street form access #8 and .03 (yes, .03) miles to the village! No need for a car just flip flops and a straw hat.

Welcoming with private lush patio

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach home. Kitchen had everything we needed. Sun room is beautiful. Home is very unique and decorated very cozy. Host was very attentive to our needs, and we spoke several times. Thanks Garrett for making our trip with our girls, a great time. Short walk to beach and to restaurants. We would definitely come back. My favorite spot was the patio!!!!

Best stay ever!!!

  • 5 of 5

This property is exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing beach trip. Walking distance to the beach and a short, easy bike ride into the village. The bungalow itself is SO cute and well kept! Gary is more than accommodating and's obvious he truly cares about making your trip as perfect as possible. I look forward to the next time I'm able to stay in this hidden gem again!!

Charming Bungalow - walk to beach and village

  • 5 of 5

We had a very enjoyable week stay in this charming bungalow cottage that is just a few minutes walk to both the beach and all the village restaurants on Ocean Blvd. The cottage has a very private ambiance and features an adorable fenced in courtyard. I found myself pondering all the different varieties of tropical plants in this pleasant patio. The bungalow has everything we needed (including beach chairs and umbrella!) and all the kitchen supplies. No complaints. Hopefully we can make it back there.

The property was great.

  • 5 of 5

The property is located a short distance from town and from beach access 8. It is very clean and well taken care of. We had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Garey, the owner, called to check on us a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. He is great to work with and he had everything you needed for your stay including beach chairs and and umbrella. Thanks for a great week

Our Paradise away from home. Garrett was a perfect host. He checked to make sure we arrived safely and everything was explained perfectly. Brenda had the home so clean and looking amazing! The king size bed was so comfortable and the private patio provided some nice evenings to sit outside. The closeness of the home to Beach access #7 and Siesta Village made our stay outstanding. We are looking forward to returning next year and possibly sooner if time allows! Thank you for an amazing vacation and we recommend this home and Garrett to anyone looking to get away😎🏖

Great owner and location

  • 5 of 5

Garey & Brenda were very nice and accommodating. Great location. Walk to restaurants, bars, shops, market and beach. About 1/4 mile to all the above. Short drive to Sarasota. Quiet at night. Parking right next to the unit. Clean and well equipped and I get the feeling if it doesn't have what you need the owners will help you out. Hope to be back someday!
