About Susan Gray

Richard and Allan, the owners of Garden Farm, live directly across the alley from this property and will be available for any questions or needs that may arise.

Susan Gray purchased this house in 2012

Why Susan Gray chose Colorado Springs

This property was purchased because of the proximity to our home. It's size allowed a large greenhouse to be built on the property.

Fantastic place!

  • 5 of 5

This is an extraordinary property/experience. We were in town for a week to visit our son. It is situated in a lovely Old Colorado City neighborhood. Easy walking distance to grocery store, restaurants and shops. Richard and Alan were wonderful hosts and have created an unique urban farm. The house faces the street and is very comfortable and well appointed. There is a nice deck off the back of the house facing the greenhouse which is an aquaponic working greenhouse. We were greeted w/ a dozen eggs from their chickens, a bottle of wine and a bouquet of flowers from their gardens. Very private and quiet place that we thoroughly enjoyed! We look forward to returning.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this rental property was fantastic. The owner is very nice and always helpful, and being able to buy fresh eggs (after finishing the complimentary first dozen) on site is a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again!

Great property, great people

  • 5 of 5

Everyone we worked with on this rental property was great. The property is awesome and fully stocked, the only thing missing was a pizza cutter. The community farm was very cool and everyone we met was helpful. Plan on staying again next time we are in the area.

Like staying a good friend's home

  • 5 of 5

No matter your arrival time, Richard greets you to make sure you are comfortable and know where everything is located, just like a friend might do. Fresh eggs from the resident chickens and a bottle of wine are waiting on the kitchen table. The well furnished, comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bath home is cozy and convenient to shopping and dining in Old Colorado City, Downtown Colorado Springs, and hiking & site seeing in Manitou Springs. You even have a garage space for parking, handy in a city which gets it's share of hail storms. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine in the beautiful gardens, take a stroll in the neighborhood. This is a place you'll want to visit again.

What a wonderful rental!

  • 5 of 5

Richard met us when we arrived to give us a tour. Fresh eggs and wine were waiting for us in the kitchen. Very sweet! The house was just what we needed. The home was very clean and the grounds were beautiful. I went out in the yard each morning to enjoy it! The location of this property was also great. Very close to everything in Colorado Springs. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area!
