Garden Farms sits on a large double lot in a quiet residential neighborhood. The property consists of two vacation rental residences. Garden Farm is the main house which has two bedrooms. The other residence is a garage apartment adjacent to the main house. This one bedroom apartment is known as Restful Roost at Garden Farm. Restful Roost has a separate VRBO property listing #654521. On the property there is also a 1000 sq. ft. Solar Greenhouse for Aquaponics. Vegetables, eggs, and fresh fish are available year round.

Great property, great people

Everyone we worked with on this rental property was great. The property is awesome and fully stocked, the only thing missing was a pizza cutter. The community farm was very cool and everyone we met was helpful. Plan on staying again next time we are in the area.

Like staying a good friend's home

No matter your arrival time, Richard greets you to make sure you are comfortable and know where everything is located, just like a friend might do. Fresh eggs from the resident chickens and a bottle of wine are waiting on the kitchen table. The well furnished, comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bath home is cozy and convenient to shopping and dining in Old Colorado City, Downtown Colorado Springs, and hiking & site seeing in Manitou Springs. You even have a garage space for parking, handy in a city which gets it's share of hail storms. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine in the beautiful gardens, take a stroll in the neighborhood. This is a place you'll want to visit again.

What a wonderful rental!

Richard met us when we arrived to give us a tour. Fresh eggs and wine were waiting for us in the kitchen. Very sweet! The house was just what we needed. The home was very clean and the grounds were beautiful. I went out in the yard each morning to enjoy it! The location of this property was also great. Very close to everything in Colorado Springs. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area!

This property was perfect

The property was lovely. The house is older but in great condition and full of character. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was VERY clean. I am very particular about where I stay and I would choose this property again. The backyard is like a private oasis full of flowers and natural beauty. The best part of the property is the owners. They were so welcoming and were a joy to get to know. Thanks Richard and Allen!

Clean home with creative backyard farm.

Owners were friendly and had good recommendations for activities and restaurants. My kids enjoyed feeding the chickens and exploring around. Location was good to Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak cog rail in Manitou. Thank you for your hospitality!

Super Wonderful Rental, Fantastic Hosts, and Great Location

The property was truly a five star rated rental. Richard and Allen attended to our every needs on a daily basis, but were not intrusive into our privacy. The unit was perfectly decorated and well maintained. Fresh eggs, wine, coffee, and flowers were there to greet us on our arrival. Richard and Allen gave us a tour of the sustainable greenhouse, and surrounding gardens, which were beautiful, and very peaceful to view. My sister is a gardener and she truly enjoyed the surroundings. The location makes you feel secure with your own private garage. This is by far the best VRBO rental on the market, and is a gem in the rough. Richard and Allen's kindness was truly appreciated and we will definitely stay here on our next visit to Colorado Springs.
