About B J Sheridan
We came to live in Cyprus during the summer of 2009. The island and its people have exceeded all expectations! The weather is wonderful, the atmosphere relaxing and the views stunning. In the village of Peyia the local people are welcoming and friendly. Our friends who visit from the UK, Europe and USA all call it 'Paradise'! We hope you come and enjoy this wonderful place as much as everyone else does.

Why B J Sheridan chose Peyia
Cyprus is an easy place to relocate to and the island is beautiful and full of interest. The people are very warm and welcoming. The weather is gorgeous! Driving is on the left hand side of the road, there are many British people living here and it is known as a very safe country. It is wonderful being so close to the ocean, having fabulous views, blue skies, stunning sunsets and sunrises. The evenings are almost magical here! It is an easy drive to the nearest airport and to the Akamis Peninsula, Nicosia, Paphos etc.. The village is just a few minutes walk away with all the amenities we need. Fabulous! This has been described as one of the most beautiful developments in Cyprus. The Mediterranean Suite is top floor (there is a lift!) with absolutely stunning views. Some people actually gasp at the beauty when they come into the property for the first time. It really does have the 'Wow' factor. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are fabulous.
What makes this Apartment unique
Breathtaking views. Close proximity to amenities such as a Greek supermarket and Cypriot tavernas and restaurants. Very secluded. Onsite parking. Gated community. SPECTACULAR VIEWS, FABULOUS INFINITY SWIMMING POOL AND JACUZZI/SPA, WONDERFUL LOCATION. The beauty of this property is that it is very secluded and private. Even local people don't realize it is here yet we are only a 3 minute walk from the local supermarket, tavernas and restaurants plus the lovely tree-lined village square. It is very safe and secure. Onsite managers who will attend to every request! Peace and quiet, secluded yet very near the pretty village centre. Near the historic city of Paphos with it's world class mosaics, castle and harbour. The best beaches in Cyprus are just a few minutes drive away. Nicosia, the island's capital city is a two hour drive away through stunning scenery. Healthy Mediterranean cuisine nearby. Great selection of restaurants nearby. The beautiful Akamas Peninsula with it's turtle nesting sites is five miles away.

Very best wishes
Lovely apartment, everything thought of.
Had a lovely relaxing holiday. Apartment was very clean and fully equipped with everything you could need. Very quiet area so would recommend hiring a car. The views from the apartment are wonderful. John and Linda who are on site and manage the apartment are very helpful and can sort and advise on anything that is required. I would highly recommend this for a relaxing break.
Perfect location, amazing apartment.
This apartment is in a small development just a minute's walk from Peyia church, shops and several restaurants and bars, and yet it is utterly peaceful. The view from the balcony down to the sea is glorious, and the weather in late October is quite warm enough for long evenings over a bottle or two of excellent local wine. Coral Bay is less than ten minutes down the hill by car, and the onsite managers, Linda and John, are mines of information about things to see and do.
The apartment itself is delightful. Two good sized double rooms, one with an en-suite shower and loo, and one next to a separate bathroom, are comfortable and spotless. There are loads of towels and a washing machine. The kitchen has a Neff cooker with a ceramic hob, so cooking with fresh produce from the well-stocked local supermarket is a pleasure, and there's a dishwasher to ease the pain of washing up. When we arrived, there was bread, butter, coffee, tea and milk so we could drop our bags, have a cup of tea, and settle in before heading off to explore. The pool is quite as beautiful as the picture suggests, with a sunny terrace and sun loungers. The open-plan sitting room is comfortable with a TV that gets UK TV channels, though we only used that to catch the Bake-Off final. Several local bars have UK sports on large screens - we watched the big match on Saturday surrounded by quite a few ex-pats in their supporters' shirts.
Booking the property was easy. The owner, Barbara's emails are friendly and full of useful information. Linda and John are jolly, helpful, generous with support but not at all intrusive. John met us at Paphos airport and dropped us off at the end of the holiday for a very small charge.
In short, this is the perfect holiday apartment in a lovely place, supported by wonderful people. It's as good as it gets.
Tolle Golftage auf Zypern😄⛳️

I'm so glad that you had a wonderful holiday in beautiful Cyprus. Thank you both for being such great guests! My very best wishes to you both.
Beautifully located in the pretty hill side village of Peyia with wonderful views to the Mediterranean Sea. Secluded and quiet but near the local Greek supermarket, tavernas and amenities. About 8 miles from the historic city of Paphos with some of the world's finest mosaics, a castle and a harbour.
We think that Cyprus during November to April can often be the best time of the year. It is often warm during February in particular, with beautiful evenings and lovely days. Our prices are much cheaper then and we offer a monthly rate for the winter lets. This November and December we swam in the Mediterranean until coming back to the UK for Christmas. We highly recommend the Beautifully located in the pretty hill side village of Peyia with wonderful views to the Mediterranean Sea. Secluded and quiet but near the local Greek supermarket, tavernas and amenities. About 8 miles from the historic city of Paphos with some of the world's finest mosaics, a castle and a winter season for some sunshine and a quiet relaxing holiday. It was about 72 degrees F when I left for the UK!
Paphos truly is a year round holiday resort with blue sky and sunshine for more days of the year than most places in Europe.
This unique city is on the UNESCO List of World Cultural Heritage. The Tombs of the Kings is one of the attractions to see and many other historical sites as well as the old town with its interesting buildings and market.
You will find many bars and restaurants in Paphos and surrounding coastal areas, ranging from traditional greek tavernas to smart new bars and cafes.
Coral Bay has some of the finest beaches in Cyprus. It is a 5-10 minute drive to Coral Bay. The Akamis Peninsula, reputedly the most beautiful area of Cyprus is about 5 miles away. Here are more sandy beaches with very few tourists. Lara Beach, the turtle nesting beach is on the Akamis, about 8 miles from the penthouse apartment. During the summer you should be able to see baby turtles. Further to the north is Latchi and Polis with lovely fishing harbours, marinas and beaches.
Paphos International Airport is about 40 minutes drive. (This is probably the most relaxed airport in the world!). Limassol Port about 1 hour. It is recommended that you hire a car to see the whole area, although people do mange without. There are buses throughout the village going to a number of beauty spots and into Paphos. Buses go very frequently from Coral Bay, 35 minutes walk away! Try to plan a trip to the Troodos Mountains, it will be unforgettable! The drive to Nicosia is fabulous.
Peyia Greek supermarket, taverns, restaurants 3-6 mins walk. Coral Bay with beaches, restaurants, shops 3-5 miles. Historic city of Paphos 8 miles. Kato Paphos (World Heritage Site) and lovely harbour 7 miles. Limassol a cosmopolitan city 1 hour away. Nicosia 2 hours. You drive through stunning mountain scenery. Nicosia is a divided city. Take passports and go to the Turkish side for designer handbags and wonderful architecture. Polis, Latchi 20 miles. Kathika village wineries 8 miles.
We can easily arrange for you to be met at Paphos International Airport and brought you to The Mediterranean Suite. At the end of your stay we can arrange for you to be taken back to the airport. We can also send you a list of very affordable car hire companies.
There is horse riding at Aphrodite Hills and George's Ranch nearby. Near Coral Bay is a Bird Sanctuary with a huge variety of exotic birds. The Akamis Peninsula is famous for its walks, rugged scenery and wildlife as well as the beaches and the baby turtles. It is stunningly beautiful.
This area of Cyprus is full of history. Approx 5 miles away is Cape Drepanon with its Roman mosaics, underfloor heating, marble pillars and relics. Kourion is a 35 minute drive away. This is a ruined Roman hilltop city with mosaic floors, pillars and an amphitheatre.
The area is perfect for golfers. There is a tennis club at the Coral Bay Hotel. The area is great for cyclists and mountain bikers. The Mediterranean stays warm until December and many of us swim in the sea until at least Christmas. There are a huge variety of water-sports including scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing at Coral Bay which has a dive centre. Good for sea fishing experiences too.
There is an eclectic mix of restaurants for fine and casual dining in Coral Bay and Paphos, plus Cypriot tavernas and cafes in the village. There are banks in the village, butchers etc. Paphos has some good shops and a covered market which is an experience to visit. Nicosia is very cosmopolitan and well worth visiting. The architecture is superb.
The hotels everywhere are lovely for morning coffee, lunches or cocktails listening to a pianist at the grand piano. There is plenty of night life in Paphos, clubs and dancing. There are pubs everywhere including the 'Jail' in the village.
