Why Marek Pawlik chose Machynlleth
its very rare to have the mountains so close to the sea as in this part of Wales .

A beautiful property and surrounding scenery. An excellent place for a quiet, peaceful, private getaway from the hussle and bustle of everyday life. A dogs paradise with plenty for them to explore. The owner is very considerate and easy to contact if required. We highly recommend Brwyno. Can't wait to book for next year.
Wow - we have had a fantastic week in the most beautiful location. A real spectacular retreat. A must for anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Thank you Marek 😃
Lots of space. Loved the outdoor fire. We had trouble finding the house in the dark...but if we had read instructions more carefully we would have been fine! Loved listening to the river at night...great sleep therapy! Some recommended walks from the house would have been welcome...we did try a couple of attempts but got stuck because so overgrown! But it was fun exploring the area anyway and we enjoyed ourselves. Found plenty to keep ourselves entertained within half an hours drive which was great. House really well equipped and staying there was easy and the owner responded so quickly to our question which was great.
Wilderness is the word!
Exactly as advertised - a lovely quiet retreat located at the end of a twisting, almost 2 mile long, single-track road. Very comfy and cosy with all the mod-cons (no mobile phone reception but very good wifi). The house was brilliantly decorated with some very original items presumably made by the owner.
The decking area by the stream & the fire pit lent themselves to late nights outside with a beer or two (provided you remembered to light the citronella candles to ward off the bugs!).
Just over 30mins to the bright lights of Aberystwyth & the coast or just over 90mins to Snowdon for some strenuous exercise!
The owner, Marek, was extremely helpful and nice & I can't recommend this house enough if you really want to get away from it all!
Loved our week here so much we got back and booked the first week available. Can't wait, this place is amazing.
Beautiful coastal towns of Tywyn , Aberdovey and Borth all have lovely sea fronts and good food and drink. The area surrounding the cottage is perfect for hiking , walking ,bird watching, mountain biking ,as it is surrounded by hills and forests and yet only 3 miles in a straight line to the coast. There is a stream next to the cottage with its own waterfall .There are lots of other rivers nearby . Machynlleth is a bustling market town , holding a weekly market every Wednesday.
