Southside Bungalow is an mid-century house located 2km or 5 minutes from St. John's downtown restaurants and shops. Extensively restored by professionals, it has 3 bedrooms (one with wet sink) two bathrooms, (one with stand-alone tub and separate shower the other with shower) large, living room and kitchen with awesome views over the Waterford Valley and river. The third bedroom is a studio with separate entrance and living area. Large yard for kids to play in.

The Trailway, the former Newfoundland Bullet railway bed, has been repurposed and is now a hiking/biking/ski trail that travels through the backyard into the city and to the beautiful nearby Bowring Park.

Great vacation property - we truly enjoyed our stay!

We rented this property for 12 days in December 2017 and were very pleased with our stay. The property was well maintained - newly renovated, nicely decorated, comfortable beds, high quality and clean. The host was very responsive to any queries we had before and during our vacation. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay there again.

Lovely home in great location.

I was travelling with 2 friends during the month of August and we were lucky enough to find this beautiful little gem in a great location in St. Johns. It is a real character home with great charm. The facility was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay with all the comforts of home. Very well stocked.
