Overall, a great and cozy cabin for a couple or small family! Close to skiing and lake views!

I was glad that I was able to stay at the Cabin. Initially the cabin was not available for the weekend however after contacting the owner, they were more than accommodating for my schedule. The cabin was the perfect size for my group. The cabin was everything I expected to be and the pictures matched everything. The cabin was cozy and warm upon arrival, we had to shovel just a bit of snow due to the snow storm the night before. Parking was available for my car, the water was easy to turn on. The fireplace was wonderful and the bed and couch were comfy. The couch was a bit dusty, however it was clean overall. The kitchen was great for cooking. The only feedback I had was the bathroom was a bit dusty and could use updated floor rugs. Other than that it was very clean, towels and sheets were clean. A great neighborhood and easy access to main street and ski areas. We were even able to take neighborhood roads to avoid traffic on Big Bear Blvd. Great place to stay, I would highly recommend it and I would definitely stay again! Thank you so much for accommodating my stay. I have been sharing my great experience with friends and would highly recommend!

Outside-there were some things to work on, inside-was very nice!

  • 4 of 5

Stayed for 2 nights with my wife and 3-month old. Easy Access. Directions and instructions were easy to follow. Exactly what we were told to expect. We enjoyed our time there and we were very comfortable. If I had to nit pick, I would say to fix the holes in the screens on the windows and to maybe put a shade on the front window for more privacy but other than that it was a nice stay. We would come back!

Romantic Getaway for Two

  • 5 of 5

The photos for this cabin definitely do not do it justice. It is so charming and has a great cabin feel. The ceilings are vaulted in mainly all parts of the cabin, which makes the space feel much bigger. The cabin is in an excellent location. It's close to the lake, the Village, and Stater Brothers in case you forget any essentials. Overall had a great weekend for an excellent price! Definitely recommend this place!

Great cabin, great location

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this cabin with another couple for two nights. It was perfect for us, with a nice kitchen, hot water, and comfy beds. We were able to walk to several restaurants, cafes, and shops from the cabin as well. We will definitely stay here again!

This place is a dump!

  • 1 of 5

The location of this cabin is perfect. The actual cabin is not so perfect! The space is way too small. So many upgrades are needed. The sofa is old and the cushions are falling apart and is covered with a ratty looking blanket that I dare not sit on. The TV is old. There are dust webs every. The bed had no matress pad or fitted sheet. The pillows were Scary! The oven had a huge grease spill. The floors need sweeping and the rugs are filthy. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. As the rate of the cabin does not equate the value. Although I had a great time outside of the cabin, I could not wait to leave!

Owner's Response: I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay. This definitely comes as a surprise. The sofa has been replaced with a new sofa since your stay. Prior to your stay I emailed you to explain an unfortunate incident in which someone had ruined the sofa cushion and delivery of a new sofa would not arrive until after your stay. You also requested to bring your service dog which we were happy to allow even though we don't typically allow pets. We also provided you with our phone numbers asking that you please call us if you had any questions or concerns. I wish you had contacted us that you were not happy with the cleanliness as I would have sent housekeeping out immediately. We take great pride in our cabin, it is older but cozy, clean and well kept as previous reviews have stated. The TV is old and you can see a photo of the TV in the pictures of the cabin prior to renting it. I will certainly be sharing your cleanliness comments with housekeeping to avoid issues in the future.

New Years Eve in Big Bear

  • 5 of 5

For weeks I had been searching for a cabin that was worth it's money for New Years weekend in Big Bear that would accommodate just 4 people. Everything was so overpriced and seriously not worth what the owners were asking. I was about to give up when I came across this quaint cabin. You could tell it was charming from the pictures but more importantly it was so affordable and I booked it instantly. I have nothing but excellent things to say about my stay. First and foremost, the owners were completely on-top of things which is important for a super detailed traveler like myself. Every email and text asking questions was immediately answered within the matter of minutes. They also provided a packet of detailed information regarding all things cabin and our stay. Furthermore, the cabin was beyond my expectations. It was well-kept and super clean, which again is a very important quality to me. The location was perfect, close to town and the lake. I would definitely recommend staying here.
