We stayed here for our family trip, beautiful home, beautiful location. Only a few miles outside of Breck. I highly recommend this cozy home!
My two friends and I stayed at this gorgeous place just 6 mi south of Breckenridge. We originally booked 2 nights then added another two nights because we didn't want to leave. Kitchen was well stocked but bring your own coffee and salt and pepper. The gas fireplace was wonderful, the beds comfortable and the deck and views cannot be beat! Would definitely stay here again!
Our ski trip went so well when we stayed at Happinest because the location was so convenient. We were only a short drive from Main Street and headed down there a few times to grab dinner with the kids. They had a blast on this vacation too. For their first trip to the mountains, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation home! The mountain views were so beautiful and the kids went crazy over it!
The home was also very clean when we arrived and the reservations staff was great at communicating with us to help us find the house and figure out what activities we could do with our kids under 8yrs. old. Main Street offered plenty for us to do and see.
Our family really enjoyed Happinest. It was really settled right in the middle of the mountains. Every room had an amazing view. It was a great home for our mountain vacation. We plan to return for ski trips in the future. Would definitely recommend to families with children. There is a lot of space for running around and they loved the foosball table.
The kitchen on the main floor was great for cooking -- large space and nice appliances. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you Five Star!
Spacious enough for 3 families to sleep, eat and sit. Plenty of tv's. 2 sofa beds great for those that don't want to share a bed.
It can get warm in the house when the sun shines in otherwise during the night sleeping with the windows open at night is quite comfortable.
The neighbor moose was quite a sight. Very tame. But we dare not get too close.
Loved the decor of the home. Had plenty of towels and bed spreads for all. Glad the house had a washer and dryer. We used it many times due to our dirty excursions.
Would come again. Highly recommend to all.
A group of us (5 adults 6 teens) had a wonderful stay in your house. This house is very spacious - three levels! Plenty of spaces for everyone, very clean. Pretty much every room is a "Room with a view". The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to prepare a nice dinner or breakfast. The deck is huge, perfect for enjoying the sunset time. The foosball table is an immediate hit for the kids. We also love the garage - so convenient and organized. We put our gears in the garage every day after skiing. The laundry room is also very convenient. Plenty of towels.
The owner Tony is very friendly and easy to work with. We'd definitely come back again!
There are only a few things that I personally think could be improved (easily).
1) Add a curtain on the patio door to the huge deck. In late afternoon, the sun shines directly into the dining area and kitchen area. It would be great if there is a curtain that could be used to temporarily block the sun. But it's no big deal without the curtain either.
2) The main kitchen sink doesn't have a built-in garbage disposal. So guests need to be careful not to leave too many things in the sink.
We feel very lucky to have found this vacation house! Thank you very much, Tony!
