Bedrooms Studio
Space 334 sq ft
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 4 - 6 nights

About the property

Studio w/ Alcove Kitchen, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 4

Well-designed, and beautifully decorated, studio with completely-equipped kitchen. Queen bed and a separate sitting area with a full sofa bed. Large lanai with room to dine and awesome ocean and shoreline view (with city lights at night). The condo has a remodeled full bath, a/c, 27' LG LCD TV with cable. It is located on a top floor and quiet for sleeping. The kitchen has a full-size fridge (at lanai entrance), microwave, cooktop, convection oven, coffeemaker, toaster, rice cooker, pot/pans, dishes, flatware, etc.

Small and convenient, the building is called The Seashore because that’s where it is. In a minute’s time, you can be at the Hula Mound of Waikiki Beach. There is a laundryroom in the building, two elevators, and secured entry to the lobby. There is no pool or parking, but parking is available close by and one of the best swimming beaches is a stone's throw away.

About Mike Rhodes

Aloha, After decades of worldwide travel, I decided that it was time to slow down (a bit :-). Having lived abroad, and liking many places in which to live, I chose Hawaii because I'm American and wanted that things be simple and familiar--while still being different enough to hold my interest. I hope that you, too, find this about Hawaii.

Why Mike Rhodes chose Waikiki

There are only two condominium buildings closer to Waikiki Beach than The Seashore. The buildings lining the beach are all hotels and condotels.

What makes this condo unique

Awesome Ocean/Shore View. Location convenient to everything that Waikiki has to offer.

Best location to Waikiki beach

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I loved the condo #96. One block from Waikiki beach. Ocean view from lanai. Small but cozy and well equipped.

Location, Location, Location!

  • 5 of 5

If you are looking for a comfortable accommodation with a private lanai, this is the place in Waikiki Beach! The location is spectacular -- in the very heart of all the action, just one block from the sand with beautiful views of the ocean.

The condo is small, but comfortably furnished (great queen sized bed), and offers a kitchen where you can prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner, saving a bundle on eating out every day.

Mike Rhodes is a wonderfully responsive host and will take good care of you. Photos are accurate and my security deposit was promptly returned. I stayed in the condo one month!

Wonderful location and view - perfect for our stay

  • 5 of 5

Just as pictured, while square footage is limited, we had everything we needed for our 6 week stay. The location and view are unparalleled and Mike, the landlord, is an excellent, knowledgeable and aloha -filled host! I cooked often, food pantry is nearby (walking) or we took Uber to Safeway for a great grocery trip. ABC is next door for any beach needs and bus stops are a block away - rent your surf board down stairs! Also, farm market is across the street in the Hyatt and on opposite nights, the market is at kings village (5 minute walk). Lastly, you are 90 seconds from world famous Waikiki beach!!!!!!!! Walk Kalakaua for shopping and dining daily and world class people watching:) Mahalo Mike for a wonderful stay and my apologies for taking soooooo long to review your condo.

Small with a Great view!

  • 5 of 5

I don't ever write reviews. I am now because I was extremely pleased with the condo location and the manager of the condo, Mike!

I had the pleasure to be afforded the opportunity to travel to Hawaii for work. I booked this condo (first time using VRBO) because I needed a place to stay for 14 nights at a reasonable rate. My first impression was that the condo was small, but when I walked out on the lanai and was sold. Everything I needed to have a comfortable stay was provided and it was a huge bonus to have such a great view of Waikiki beach when I got home from work. After many long days of work it was great to sit out on the lanai and enjoy a sunset. Mike was great to work with and ensured everything was in order for my stay. I have already decided that I will be returning to Hawaii for a vacation and will be looking for this condo's availability.

Owner's Response: Mahalo for taking the time to write a review. It was a pleasure having you as a guest, and I'm glad that you were comfortable for your short time of work here in Hawaii. Spaces are a bit tighter in Hawaii compared to many places on the mainland. I've heard many people compare the size/price--more than anywhere else--of accommodation in Waikiki to that of New York City Fortunately, depending on the building's location, you also have the convenience--like NYC--of being able to walk to most anything that you need (as well as a comprehensive public bus system :-). I'm happy that you enjoyed the location and view of the studio condo, and I hope that you're able to return soon. Thanks again

Car: not necessary

Nestled between the Waikiki Resort Hotel and the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa, The Seashore is a 3 minute walk to the beach and very close to everything that Waikiki has to offer. Less than a 5 minute walk: shopping, restaurants, beach, groceries, all bus-lines. Kapiolani Park, offering a vast array of of recreation possibilities (jogging, playing fields, hiking, gardens, the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Shell and aquarium) is just 7 minutes walk.

To say that this is a convenient location is an understatement.
