This Lake Cle Elum retreat is nestled in the pine trees near Lake Cle Elum. Enjoy this spacious, five-bedroom home that is the ideal gathering place for family and friends. The great room presents views of Mount Baldy and glimpses of Lake Cle Elum through the large west facing windows. The house has wifi, cable TV and local phone. Snowmobile to over 200 miles of trails from the house and there is plenty of off street parking for your trailers.

The home has five bedrooms (one king, two queens, one full and a large bunk room with two fulls, a twin, and a bunk bed), a recreation room with pool table, entertainment center, card table and dart board, two full bathrooms, and a deck that is perfect for relaxing and barbecuing. Winter brings many fun activities...hiking, snow mobiling, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and sledding. Summer is great for outdoor fun including sun bathing, croquet, or other fun outdoor games in the west facing yard. Also enjoy 'smores and camp fire songs at the outdoor fire pit.

Easy lake access and the neighborhood boat launch are all of a minute walk from the house at the end of the block. The lake provides swimming and boating in summer and cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and sledding in the winter. Hiking, mountain biking, and snowmobile trails are all within close proximity. Enjoy a round of golf at Prospector, the newly established Suncadia course 10 miles south of the house. A float trip on the Cle Elum and Yakima Rivers is also an exciting option.

Enjoy preparing meals at the house, dining table accommodates 14, or enjoying one of the local establishments in the historic town of Roslyn, Washington. The house is an easy hour drive to Leavenworth (quaint Bavarian village) and Yakima (known for wine tasting fun and lots of fresh produce). Do not forget the various music festivals and rodeo a half hour away in Ellensburg.

About The Owner

Our family has enjoyed vacationing at Lake Cle Elum since 2002. We love mountain biking, waterskiing, hiking and playing on the lake shore in the summer and cross country skiing, snowmobiling and playing in the snow in the winter months. When we are not at the lake, we live in Seattle and love cheering for the Seahawks.

The Owner purchased this house in 2002

Charming

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 10 people and 2 pets really enjoyed spending Christmas here. Very clean, spacious, comfortable and the owners couldn't have been more helpful. We especially appreciated the quiet, snowy surroundings. Would recommend.

Great Place For Our Family Holiday Celebration!

  • 5 of 5

This property worked well for our family holiday celebration and the two kitchens were perfect for preparing a huge family dinner. The view is breathtaking and the surroundings quiet. Everyone had a bed and the pool table got plenty of play. The house was clean and well stocked with towels, bedding, etc., and there is lots of parking. We will likely return again soon!

Perfect house for grandparents to toddlers

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for our needs--family time together with lots of kids. The kitchen is well stocked, and plenty of parking. The lake must be at an all-time low, but we enjoyed walks, bike riding at Suncadia, Sunday farmer's market in Roslyn, as well as driving up to Salmon la Sac, and floating the Yakima River. Justin was quick to answer texts and we were more than comfortable for our 4 night stay.

great house, great location

  • 4 of 5

Despite a bit of age, the house has character in spades and a great location.

Easily made large dinners in the well stocked kitchen and the pool table was a fun bonus.

A wonderful place near lake

  • 5 of 5

Me and my friends had a great time at this place. It's a relatively spacious house with a nice view. It is very close to lake. You can walk to the beach in under 5 min. We were 14 people with 3 toddlers and had a great time in the house and on the beach. There are plenty of toys for kids to play with. There is a very nice pool table in the basement. The heating system is pretty good. The house has a big lot which can easily fit up to 7 cars.

They also have internet connection which is really useful since cell phone reception is not that great in that area.

There is a boat/jetski rental very closeby(walking under 10 min). We actually rented a jetski for a very low price for 4 hours and had a lot of fun in the lake.

If you drive enough towards north, you can go and visit the cooper lake which is very very beautiful. Make sure you also take a boat or canoe there because it is very relaxing to canoe on that lake.

All in all this area and the house gave us a very nice experience and we would think about going back there again.
