Located right on the famous Bear Lake Scenic Bike Trail, The 12-Bedroom, 12-Bathroom True Luxury Lodge has a large dining area with lots of seating, which dining area is directly adjacent to a large patio with many more tables and chairs. A brand new feature in this home is a large INDOOR CHILDREN'S PLAYLAND with rock climbing wall, custom indoor treehouse with slides, etc. (Note: the indoor playland is a new feature for 2017, and will be completed by March 31, 2017.) There is also a toddler's toy room with a lot of fun toys for the little ones. Another feature of this home is the huge theater room, which can double as a large gathering area or meeting area for your large group. Also, enjoy 80" flat screen TVs in two of the gathering areas, including above a beautiful mantle over three side-by-side fireplaces in the living area, and in the game room where they can play Xbox or watch a movie while playing pool, air hockey, or foosball. The kitchen is well-designed and features three fridges, as well as double ovens, double dishwashers, double sinks. The bedrooms are the reason this place is called True Luxury. Of the 12 bedrooms, 10 of them are themed suites. Each suite has a comfy King or Queen pillowtop mattress, and each suite features it's very own bathroom. Each suite also has its very own flat screen TV. There is currently a Jacuzzi in the back yard (winterized during winter). And the beautiful back yard has lots of room for the family to play. There's plenty of parking around the house (15 parking spaces total). Of course all linens and towels are provided, and laundry rooms with washers and dryers are on each level. Internet connection provided. No smoking, no pets. Maximum guests: 50. Why Byron chose Snow Meadows
Simply one of the best and most well-known cabins on the entire lake. Great backyard. Close to the lake. Fun indoor amenities with a large indoor playland, toddler's toy room, huge theater room, game room, large gathering areas for dining, and lots of luxurious bedrooms. Close to the lake and right next to the Garden City bike path.

Lovely home, space for everyone
This is a lovely home. We had about 30 people here for a family reunion with a variety of ages and interests. The indoor playground was a hit for our little ones while older ones enjoyed the gaming and theater options. The home is a little older and needs some updates. Some of the items in the video were not in the house (e.g. pop machine), but the written description is accurate. The home is a short drive from town and the lake. We took advantage of the water rentals in town and everyone had a great time! Overall we had a very positive experience and would recommend this home to those looking for a space for a large group.
Thanks for recommending the home. I'm glad to hear you had a great time. For those reading this review, I will add one little correction. The home is right in town. In fact it's right on Bear Lake Blvd in Garden City (that is the road that goes around the lake). So it's right in town and very close to the lake. (The review said it was a short drive to town, so, again, just wanted to clarify that this is right in town, and a short drive to the Marina). Also, this home was built around 2008, and we are constantly updating. In 2015 we added a large theater room. In 2017 we added the indoor play area. (I should note that every group that has stayed this summer has expressed how much their children used and enjoyed the indoor play area.) Thanks for choosing our home for your Bear Lake stay.
Fun property with a lot of character, space, and amenities.
Our family of fifty had a fantastic weekend at Snow Meadows. We were enchanted with all the play space, kitchen/dining space, and halls that went on and on with neverending bedroom space. Loved all the king beds as well as bunks and mats for kids. Attention to a few details like a more towels in all the baths, a working lighter for the gas grill, and a more private divider or permanent door for master suite bath would make this property practically perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend.
Almost perfect. Overall, a very good value. We have stayed here twice and it is VERY nice.
I have limited space here, so I'll try to be concise.
- Kitchen/Dining/living area. Open area with lots of fridge space
- Lots of locking bedrooms for individual families with ensuite bathrooms
- Theatre room is awesome and spacious
- Management was pleasant and helpful
- The new playroom was a huge hit with the kids
- The dining room tables. Both the rectangular and the round tables are a sort of "drop-leaf" style of table, clumsy and cumbersome. The sides fold out, but are never quite level and feel like they might give way at any moment. I think they would do well to replace these with something more sturdy and practical.
- Handicap accessibility. Multiple members of our party require some level of handicap accessibility. There is a beautiful cement ramp leading right up one of the entrances, but it can't be used because the laundry machines inside are too big to allow a wheelchair to pass through. As the house is obviously undergoing continuous improvement, I should think those machines could easily be moved elsewhere on the main floor. Also, none of the bathrooms were even remotely wheelchair accessible.
-Master Suite Configuration. The master bedroom is ENORMOUS, with a GIANT closet and space for a king bed and two sets of bunks, but the shower is smallish, and the room with the toilet is almost comically TINY compared to the rest of room (and the house, for that matter). The bedroom entrance is nice and wide, but it has these sort of micro-double doors that are weird and kind of just annoying to use.
Again, it is obvious that the house is in a state of constant improvement, so I would definitely recommend an upgrade to the master bath that includes a large walk-in shower, a comfort height toilet with plenty of clearance on all three sides, and 36" doors. There is plenty of space there and changes to the plumbing should be relatively minimal. I would think the increase in value and marketability of the property would more than compensate for the cost of the improvements, and handicapped occupants would then have access to a usable bathroom!
-Water heater capacity. We loved that this house had so many amazing bathrooms, most with oversized jetted/soaker tubs. Unfortunately, the current water heaters were clearly out matched. I would recommend upgrading to tankless on-demand water heaters.
Overall, a VERY nice place for a big family party. A few more tweaks and it might be just about perfect.
Perfect for our large family Christmas Reunion
We loved this lodge! It snowed the first night so the kids had a blast sledding down the driveway the next morning. 😊
So glad to hear you enjoyed the lodge. Thanks for taking the time to tell others.
Great Family Fun Place!
We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday and had so much fun. There were 33 of us and plenty of entertainment and room for all of us. My grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the indoor play house, zip line and slides! The teenagers loved the game room with video games as well as the ping pong table and pool. We all enjoyed the theater room. It was so comfortable too. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing our Thanksgiving meal and serving it. They had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!
Great for a large group!
We rented this property for our company retreat. The common area is spacious and kitchen is perfect for preparing large meals. The rooms were clean, but only a couple had towels. We had to hunt down and distribute bath towels, most of which looked like they were just old beach towels that previous visitors had left behind. Also, the remotes in all of the common areas had dead batteries. Parking was better than we expected and the outdoor area was great. Byron was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions and requests. Overall it was what we were hoping for and fit our needs well. We would definitely consider coming back for future events!
Glad to hear our home fit your needs. It sounds like the cleaner forgot to distribute towels...sorry about that. We do have some cupboards filled with old beach towels; it sounds like that's what you found. But we also have nice, new bath towels, and, again, it sounds like they forgot to put those out for you. Sorry about the remotes, we do change batteries in smoke detectors and remotes each year, and we keep a supply of batteries in the pantry just in case. I hope you found them. Glad to hear we might have you back in the future. Thanks for choosing our home for your stay at Bear Lake.
