Overview

About the property

Experience the 'Real Florida!'

' NON SMOKERS ONLY! Key West'-style cottage just across the street from the Intracoastal in Jensen Beach. Jensen Beach was the Pineapple capital of America until just a few decades ago. Nowadays it is a capital of culture; a relaxed place with a slightly funky vibe.

The cottage is nice and airy, located right across the street from the Intracoastal Waterway. It has a comfortable bed, kitchenette with plenty of cabinet space, full size refrigerator and stove. There is also a quiet patio to take morning coffee, barbecue or just to lay and bask in the balmy river breezes.

The cottage is located in walking distance to the cool funky downtown, Indian River Park with a Children’s museum and pier into the river.

Dolphin Bar & Shrimp house (live music - real Florida feeling), the Sailing Club and school as well as Marina with boat rental.

Less than 10 mins drive to the beach.

Guest Access

Guests have access to a private patio with patio furnishings and a barbecue grill. Long term guests provide own fuel for grill.

Interaction with Guests

We may be present or in Europe at which point our manager is available.

Getting around

As is the case in most of Florida a car is nice to have but is not necessary to have one for your whole stay because a small grocery store is 2 minutes away and a large one (Publix) is a longer walk but an easy bike ride away. The beach, too, is an easy bike ride and downtown with restaurants and cafes is a ten minute walk.

It was perfect!

  • 5 of 5

What a great little cottage, perfect for two people! Loved that there was a kitchen with a full fridge and stove. Close to restaurants, the bait and tackle store, a fishing pier, kayaking, and the beach. Also nearby is a bridge great for night fishing. Roger and Coral were very quick to help guide us through the town and give us suggestions. Cant wait to come back!!

Very campy

  • 2 of 5

While this cottage had all the very basics, they were less than "basic". Felt like we were camping. Very few mix-matched furnishings and dishes, like only a handful of "garage sale" glasses. The pillows were Horrendous! Flatter than blankets. The decorating really needs to step-it up! Too bad as the cottages were cute and in a dynamite location. After paying a cleaning and service fee, we would have preferred a quality hotel at same cost.

Cozy cottage for 2 guests

Perfect location just south of Jensen Beach Causeway and tourist/shopping/restaurants. Small efficiency cottage with queen bed, cable, WiFi, etc. One block from Indian River, 10 minutes to Atlantic beaches.

Amazing Place To Stay!!!!!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

What a great little place we found! So clean and cute. This is a prefect location. It is with in-walking distance to quaint downtown Also so many restaurants and the BEST beach ever (Bathtub Beach) this is a little oasis. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Coral and Roger were so fast with getting back with us to answer any question we had . Don't miss out on this hidden treasure! We would truly love to come back here. Coral & Roger thanks for having us!!!

Perfect beach hideaway!

  • 5 of 5

The pineapple cottage was the perfect little getaway for my fiancé and I. The house was extremely clean and provided all of the necessary things we needed for our stay. The location of the house was perfect to drive into Stuart for the day, or Jensen beach. Plenty of restaurants and outdoor activities in the area to enjoy. Roger and Coral were great hosts and we have no complaints! We will be visiting the pineapple cottage again soon!!
