The bright and sunny villa was totally renovated in 2006, and refurbished again in 2011, and also in 2016. Our home is consistently maintained, because a well-maintained home means a great deal to our guests and to us. Our invaluable Fripp Island friend, Lori, can assist you, if on-island assistance is required : > )

Our villa is DIRECT Oceanfront, facing east, from LR/DR/Kitchen/MBR. The Ocean Point Golf Course is on the opposite side (facing west), where the 2nd BR and ensuite bathroom are located. The split bedroom plan ensures privacy. The 2nd bedroom, with its full ensuite bathroom, is separated from the MBR, LR, and kitchen, by both a pocket door and a standard door.

The villa is situated in the North Hampton building (only 23 villas), at the quieter and sunnier tip of the island. The building has its own pool (amenity card not required), and new elevator (2016). This area of Fripp is perfect for lovers of oceanfront golf, as well as those who enjoy the magical tranquility of the ever-changing ocean. Take a brief and beautiful l2-min. walk from the villa ... to the gorgeous Ocean Point beach access, which many Fripp Islanders consider as the most beautiful of Fripp's many beach accesses.

Wi-Fi, Roku, Blu-Ray, 37' flatscreen LCD TV, down-filled chaise sofa and Lazy Boy recliner will ensure your comfort.

If you and your family wish to enjoy a carefree, nature-plentiful vacation, on a low-key, island wildlife preserve, watching dolphins, seasonal tarpon, pelicans, and sea birds, directly in front of the 3rd-floor balcony and master bedroom window, you will definitely enjoy Fripp Island.

As a nature preserve, the many deer, sea turtles and abundant wildlife are protected on the island. Fripp is a unique, nature-filled, non-commercial version of Disney World, for Grown-Ups and Children :>) What separates Fripp from other islands is that, once a family comes for vacation, Fripp often becomes a Generational, Family Vacation destination.

Fripp is a private, gated island, 1½ hours from Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA. Also, 15 minutes from Fripp, is the historical town of Beaufort, a picturesque town which is rated as one of the top 10 places to retire by Kiplinger's magazine. Beaufort was also designated as 'Happiest Beach Town' in 2013, by Coastal Living magazine. Be sure to visit Beaufort's plentiful riverfront (intracoastal waterway) restaurants, antique stores, and excellent historical tours.

This unique island offers an ever-changing shoreline, pristine 3½ mile beach, which is wide, very gradually sloping, with gentle Atlantic waters. The North Hampton condo complex has its private pool, and an elevator to ALL floors. (Most Fripp homes, and other condo buildings, have at least 1 flight of stairs, even if the building has an elevator). The villa is handicapped accessible, with limitations. Also, ease of entry/exit, via the elevator, is a big plus.

Guests may also enjoy additional oceanfront pools, to include a second pool close to our building - Ocean Point pool - near the beach access - (bring your Amenity Cards, to gain entry); or, the mid-island Beach Club; and the south-end Cabana Club, with a heated pool/hot tub/kiddie pool/and lagoon pool with waterfalls and mist cave.

Other highlights include 2 highly rated championship golf courses (Ocean Point, steps from front door); miles of nature-filled bike trails; tennis; rentals of boats, kayaks, golf carts, mopeds, wave runners, and backwater skiffs; fishing and crabbing; dolphin cruises; ocean seining; Family Night with the Naturalist. Or, relax in a beach chair with a good book, and a tranquil and endless ocean view. Fripp has all you could wish for, to provide you with a safe family vacation, far from congestion and the typically busy lifestyle.

Our weekly rates include 2 weeklong amenity cards (see explanation under rates. If weeklong cards are not included by the homeowner, it would be an additional $35-$50 per person/per week.)

Monthly rates include 2 month-long amenity cards, which would be an additional $126-$140 per person, if not provided in rate. Paypal is available to you, w/ a nominal $10 convenience fee, per transaction, if you prefer to use credit card.

About Lisa M

My husband and I are retirees, who live in Rhode Island. We fell in love with Fripp Island and purchased our villa in 2005. As most ocean lovers prefer, we really enjoy the peace and quiet of unique Fripp Island, and its total absence of commercialism and congestion. Due to my father's military career, have lived worldwide. I can say with sincerity, that my husband and I have never experienced a comparable oceanfront location, as pristine, unique, and safe as Fripp Island. Fripp's peacefulness - especially with the ocean always in view, from the villa's windows - is what gave us the goal of purchasing on Fripp Island. We specifically chose our villa, due to the always-present-upclose Ocean. Another deciding factor was the sunniness of our villa, which has beautiful light entering the slider and windows, from 3 directions: Direct East in the AM / South / Direct West in the PM. This villa maintains its open and bright nature, even on a cloudy day :>) The final factor in the purchase: the Ocean Music, of the waves against the very-close seawall. We now enjoy Stormy Sea Days, as well as Sunny Sea Days.

Why Lisa M chose Fripp Island

The road to Fripp Island, from beautiful and quaint Beaufort, is a gem in itself; the road is nothing like the congested road leading to Hilton Head or Myrtle Beach. The stress dissipates, as you approach the quiet magic of Fripp Island. The 17 miles from Beaufort to Fripp becomes more and more untouched by civilization - pristine intracoastal waterways, marshes, ocean...all the way to the last bridge, to gated Fripp Island. Fripp is the EASTERN-MOST OF ALL THE SC SEA ISLANDS, and believe me, you will get that feeling that you have definitely reached 'Heavenly Land's End'. Please Google MAP OF FRIPP ISLAND RESORT. We are located on the tip, far right, above the 8 white cottages. You will see the pool between our building and the ocean seawall. Interesting Note: The Atlantic Ocean's Continental Slope drops off the far side of the 'sand bar', which you see everyday at the villa, from all the east-facing windows, slider, balcony and MBR. This is the Real Atlantic Ocean. Please Google 'Fripp Island Resort Map', scroll right to the tip where our villa is, scroll further right - until you see the 'sand bar', and you will see the precipitous drop of the Continental Slope, to the right of the 'sandbars'.

What makes this condo unique

When you open the door to our villa, all you see is Blue Atlantic Ocean...dolphins, tides ebbing and flowing, watercraft, people fishing off the seawall. This is the wild and ever-changing ocean, not a beach. The ocean is so close, you feel as if you are on a ship. It is serene - or exciting, if there are stormy ocean swells - to fall asleep to, and wake up to, the soothing sound of the ocean waves crashing against the seawall, especially during inclement weather.

Nice, clean, and relaxing...perfect getaway with sunrise and sunset pool and ocean view

Entry to Fripp was painless.

Finding the Villas was a breeze.

Transporting our belongs to the unit was easy with the push cart and elevator.

The unit was very clean and maintained.

Plenty of towels and fresh linens.

Bed was very comfortable; as were all the furniture.

The view over the water is very nice!

Will return again!

My wife and I have stayed at several villas over the years. This is probably the nicest and most clean villa on the island both by our experience and reputation amongst Fripp residents. It is always rented and I can understand. The owners are meticulous and respond in minutes if there are any the view and high speed internet. Hope we can get for next year...Tom and Jen

Definitely a return vacation site!!

Just returned from a fantastic vacation at Fripp Island. Absolutely beautiful! TONS of deer, raccoon and even ran into a rattlesnake! Lisa was a great person to rent from, very informative and helpful from activities, restaurants, the island, everything. Condo was spotless and fully equipped, including beach chairs and beach towels. Golf carts and bikes were so much fun & a must. After we found a good beach access (Flying Fish and Whiting Road were our favorites) it was a little easier. We HIGHLY recommend Dockside Restaurant on Lady's Island. We had delicious fried doughnuts at Marsh Tacky's Market (don't let the outside scare you away). Had lunch at Ocean Point Grill, and ice cream almost every night. Excellent activities for all aged children. We will definitely return to Fripp Island - hopefully very soon!

Very Beautiful Beach, (2) 4-Star-Rated Golf Courses, Biking (bike paths traverse the island), Boat Rentals, Fishing, Crabbing, Sunset and Nature Cruises, Restaurants, and abundance of undisturbed Nature. Oceanfront Villa provides feeling of being on a cruise ship. VERY BRIEF walk to ocean/beach/golf course.

Fripp Island is an official Nature Preserve - currently applying for designation as a Wildlife Sanctuary by the National Wildlife Federation - where deer are as tame as in a Petting Zoo. Sea turtles come ashore - very protected by authorities - between May and July, to make their nests.

Historical Tours, Museums, Restaurants on the Intracoastal Waterway, in beautiful Beaufort, which is the last town you go through on your way to Fripp; Fripp is 17 miles from Beaufort.

2 Week-Long Amenity Cards included in week-long rate. (Additional Amenity Cards can be purchased - $50 per person, 13 years and older, during Summer Season / $35 per person during other 3 seasons - for all activities on the island (restaurants, pools, etc.)
