Very private 4 bedroom 5 bath house behind the first tee of the Norman Course
This tranquil and luxurious home overlooking the first tee and lake on the Greg Norman Resort Course (one of six PGA West courses) is conveniently located near the Empire Polo Fields, the charming restaurants and shops of Old Town La Quinta, and the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens. The spacious and private master suite encompasses one wing of the home boasting double vanities, a large stone shower, jetted tub, and walk in closet. Each of the 4 bedrooms in the home has a king sized bed with 600+ thread count sheets and duvets, alarm clocks, robes, and a flat panel television. Each bedroom also has a granite counter ensuite bath with fluffy white towels, soap and shampoo, and a hairdryer. The cozy Den has the world’s most comfortable pull out queen sofa and a 64 inch flat panel TV. A sixth television is discretely tucked away next to the stone fireplace with hand hewn mantle in the Great Room - just in case you want to watch the big game and enjoy the incredible unobstructed view of the Santa Rosa Mountains at the same time.
With a desirable southern exposure the private, salt water, Pebble Tec pool with waterfall spa is gloriously sunny all winter and comes equipped with oversized umbrellas and shady loggia complete with ceiling fans for lounging in the summer. No cart paths or stray golf balls near this property! Enjoy the new Restoration Hardware daybed, sofa and lounge chairs or BBQ a great meal to share over a bottle of California’s finest at the 6 person outdoor dining area.
The private gated palm courtyard with bubbling jar fountain serves as a soothing entryway as well as quiet transition space between the main house and the casita- all on one level. The professional landscaping has been recently improved, including additional bougainvillea, fragrant jasmine, a new lime tree and an orange tree to supplement the mature lemon and grapefruit trees on the property, as well as the amazing roses that grace the yard all year.
The chef's kitchen comes complete with granite countertops, backsplash and eat-in bar, supplementing the 6 person indoor dining table and 3 seats at the wet bar. The stainless steel double ovens, five burner stove, stainless cookware, coffee maker, serving platters, and a well-equipped pantry make it a breeze to prepare large family meals or an intimate dinner. All of the civilizing niceties are available for your enjoyment; from Riedel wine glasses next to the wine refrigerator to an ice-cream maker with double bowls chilling in the freezer, and the blender and juicer are a must with so much fresh citrus.
For younger guests, a highchair and a Pack ‘n Play are available, as well as a small assortment of games, toys, and pool floats and pool towels. But in case your stay involves at least a tiny bit of work, an executive desk comes complete with a printer, free long-distance domestic calling, ridiculously fast high speed internet/wifi and a great view of the pool and mountains.
Clean up is a snap in the laundry room with deep sink, iron and ironing board, broom closet and dry storage off the two car air-conditioned garage which also houses an extra full size refrigerator and freezer as well as two tankless water heaters and water softening system. Two other air-conditioners serve the main home and a fourth for the casita.
Overall this spectacular executive home has been furnished with every comfort in mind and in anticipation of your stay.

We stayed for the month.The home is a great location to get to everything.While we were there there were a couple of issues and Jen was on it immediately which is the best you can ask an owner to do.I love to cook and the kitchen was well stocked so I could make whatever I wanted.Tons of serving items.It is also the best stocked home we have ever stayed at in regards to linens and extras( including plaype,high chair toys for baby). The pool is great but especially the view.We have already rebooked for September 2017.
We were so pleased to host you and your family and we are looking forward to your return next year. We just love that amazing view as well!
We recently spent 6 weeks at this home in La Quinta. We have rented many homes thru VRBO over the past 10 years, including many in the PS area. This home has all the attributes you need. The owner, Jennifer, is extremely easy to work with, and the home is well organinized and better stocked than any others we have rented. The location is just off the #1 tee at the Norman Course, and the views are great. There are plenty of pots, pans, TVs, etc and we could not have been better served at this home. We were extremely happy with our experience there.
A perfect luxury get away in the Californian Desert
We had a fantastic stay with our young family at this property for 2 weeks in May and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone!
The house is superbly furnished for all eventualities which ensured that we had a wonderfully relaxing break with plenty of fun activities for the children, be it lazing in the sun by the pool on the mattress sized recliner or ambling around the Living Desert and feeding the giraffes, or a round of golf on the first class courses. The pool area is overlooked by the mountains and has plenty of space for a large family with an outdoor grill and table. Inside the kitchen is fully equipped and the bedrooms, especially the master, are sumptuous! It is well located for a assortment of activities in the lovely dry heat of the desert to suit the whole family - be it heading up the mountains on the cable car, Disney land for the day or even an outing to the discount factory malls.
If you do decide to eat out then good food and drink is plentiful in the nearby town of La Quinta and a wide range of supermarkets and shops are just a short drive away.
The property and grounds were beautiful and the nothing was too much effort for the owners who ensured that all of our questions were answered in a helpful and prompt manner - pre-empting most with a detailed house pack and clear directions in advance.
All in all a first class base for a wonderful couple of weeks and we are already planning to come back again next year!
