Suburban Denver metro detached townhome in excellent central location; a short drive to Denver Tech Center (6 miles), downtown (15 miles), Anschutz Medical Center (and Children's Hospital: 8 miles) and Denver International Airport (22 miles). If visit is for Children's Hospital treatment, please inform me and I'll happily apply a discount.
0.5 mile walk to light rail (at "Nine Mile" station). The home is in Aurora (80014), on the southeast border of Denver. The location is I-225 and Parker Rd (CO Hwy 83). Coffee and food in walking distance. If not using light rail, a car is recommended.
Approx 1200 usable sqft. 2 bedrooms (queen), 2 full bath, living room, kitchen, office/loft, outdoor patio and laundry room. The home comfortably sleeps 4; 5 or 6 people are welcome using the air mattress and loft. Enjoy the comforts of home for the price of a hotel room. You have the entire home to yourself. The townhome is detached, no shared spaces or walls. The space is ideal for the business travelers or family.
The home is fully furnished with a queen bed ("memory foam" mattresses) in each of the 2 bedrooms (plus an air mattress is available: usually setup in loft), 2 bathrooms, loft/office area with computer/work desk and separate reading/game table, full but small kitchen (fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils/dishes), small dining area (4 chairs), plus living room with cable/HDTV. Outdoor fenced patio/deck with table and 4 chairs, hammock and BBQ grill. Laundry in basement. The home has all new flooring (tile and carpet), remodeled bathrooms and newer appliances. Kitchen cabinets and countertop are dated.

CHECK-IN / ENTRY:
Digital keypad deadbolt: I will program the last 4 digits of your phone number as your PIN (or you can request your own PIN). This system eliminates the need to carry keys, but a key is provided as backup. It also provides for check-in at any time. Invalid PIN entry automatically disables the keypad for varying periods, depending on how many bad PIN's were entered. I can remotely override this and unlock the door or a keybox is also available in case of lockout.
No parties, large gatherings or loud behavior.
Pets: Single dog considered on case-by-case basis (with approval during booking) + additional cleaning charge and deposit.
Deposit will be forfeited if any of these occur.
$450 refundable deposit required; insurance optional.
Deposit fully refundable, except in case of damage, excessive cleaning needed (normal wear and tear expected) or violation of rules (eg. smoking).
- 25% payment required to secure booking.
- Full refund with 30 days notice of cancellation, after which the deposit is non-refundable.
- Balance (75%) is only due 10 days prior to check-in. After making this payment there is no refund.

About Shawn Kleinart
I have lived in this home for 11 years myself, and still use it on my visits to Denver. I moved to Maui, Hawaii and am not ready to let go of this home just yet. My personal items have been removed from the home - there is some locked storage in a 3rd bedroom and the basement for when I visit, but the home is furnished much like I was living there. The house also has remote automation to help me manage it. I am a few time zones away (3 hours earlier in Winter, 4 in Summer), I will respond to cell/text and emails promptly. I also have local property management available in case of emergencies.

I love the central location and easy access to Denver Tech Center and downtown. Also now that light rail goes from the airport to "9 Mile Station" - which is about a 1/5 (0.5) mile walk from the home.
What makes this Townhome unique
The comforts of home... Tile shower : Most people seem to really appreciate the master bathroom walk-in tile shower. It has a bench and an awesome rain shower head, with 3-way diverter that also provides water to a hand wand. The shower is pretty awesome. Outdoor patio/deck : The weather is often very nice in Denver, so the outdoor patio is a great space. There is a hammock, table, (4) chairs and gas grill. Home office: The upstairs loft is arranged to provide a home office space. It has a desk and a table for work needs. There is also an Ethernet switch if you want to plug in with a cable, otherwise WiFi coverage is excellent throughout the home. Beds: Each bedroom has a high-quality foam mattress - queen sized (med-firm), with quality sheets. Extra sheets and blankets are provided. Laundry is on site (basement) and available for your use. Entertainment center : there is a 42' LCD HDTV, but the real treat is the surround sound system (please keep the volume reasonable -- because with it all the way up you can hear it a few blocks away). Check-in : When you arrive you will find a few bottles of water and some snacks to help you settle. There is also coffee for the first day or two. These snacks are intended to last a day or two only. The provided soaps are intended to last a week. Laundry detergent for 4 loads is also provided. For longer-stays, please do stock food and supplies to fit your needs. You may arrive anytime, the door is automated via a PIN code (no keys required).

Perfect Location! Great place to stay with all the comforts of home!
The townhouse has all the cooking essentials and lots of dishes which made it very easy to cook at home! We loved out 5 day stay. The beds are very comfortable and the waterfall showerhead in the master bath was amazing. The laundry in the basement allowed us to take home clean clothes which always pack better than dirty ones. We will definitely stay again while visiting the Denver area. Shawn quickly replied to any inquiry regarding the townhouse. We couldn't ask for anything more. We were very happy with our stay.

Very comfortable home. We wanted for nothing in the way of basic amenities. Good Internet, TV, etc. it was easy to get to anywhere in the metro area from this address. Landlord was very reachable and responsive. Comfortable beds! Great shower. Loved the loft/office!

Outstanding rental property near Denver
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is a 3 level unit that is easy to feel at home in. Shawn has all of the amenities that one would expect at a 4 star hotel, and state of the art electronics for relaxing during the evening when your done touring the Denver area.
We would stay at Shawn's home again the next time we visit the Denver/Aurora area.
Awesome House/Condo In Denver/Aurora, CO
We had an awesome time in Denver! The place we rented was awesome! There was everything you could possibly need. A few quirks to get past, but definitely worth it! We would recommend this home to anyone wanting a two bedroom/bathroom. The home was minutes away from our son's place in Cherry Creek so very convenient. Thanks again! I will always look for VRBO homes in the future as they are easy to work with and simple enough for a technology-challenged "Cave-Woman"! So happy we decided to go this route over hotel stay!
Near I-225 and Parker Rd (CO Hwy 83). 1/2 mile walk to light rail station ('9 Mile'). Street parking immediately in front of house, or single parking pass (hang on mirror) for longer stays. Distances and times (with no traffic) to: DTC (Denver Tech Center) is 6 miles / 8 minutes Coors Field is 16 miles / 20 minutes Mile High or Pepsi Center is 14 miles / 15 minutes Easy access from airport (22 miles). Light Rail from Airport to "9 Mile Station" Walking distance to 7-11, Subway, Starbucks, burrito shop, pizza, Taco Bell, or less than 5 mile drive to many national dining chains (Red Robin, Olive Garden, TGI Fridays, Texas Roadhouse, Ruby Tuesday, Applebees, Hooters and many more).

Rules: - NO SMOKING (smoking anything forfeits security deposit)... please ask if unsure. - No parties, large gatherings or loud behavior (behaviors that result in complaints from neighbors). - No animals without prior approval (on a case-by-case basis only, with written approval only). My request: Please keep the home reasonably clean (normal wear and tear is expected) and report any issues or concerns. Please treat my home like you would yours, with due respect. Please also clean-up any excessive or abnormal use, messes or accidents (cleaning supplies and materials are on site and provided). If my cleaners require additional time (excessive messes), the actual cost may be deducted from the deposit. Things happen (spills, broken dishes, etc), if you disclose something I am forgiving. I am not into the game of charging fees or holding deposits, I just want to maintain the home as well as I can for all guests. Please advise owner if more than 4 (FOUR) people are staying (there is no additional charge, but I need to be aware and able to plan cleaning accordingly). I also ask the context of your visit and whom the guests are to make an initial approval decision, and general awareness of those people staying on the property as to plan cleaning schedules appropriately. Additional Terms: $450 refundable deposit required (in lieu of insurance fee - saving you money; insurance optional). Deposit fully refundable, except in case of damage, violation of rules, lost parking pass/keys or additional cleaning fees.
