Sit on the front porch and watch the ocean and the manatees in the canal or fish from the huge dock just steps away from the front door! This sweet and fun home was recently remodeled and updated with all new furniture, beds and luxury linens. The home features tile floors, 3 king beds, 32 inch flat screen TVs in all 3 bedrooms, a 55 inch flat screen in the living area, a fully equipped kitchen and a private pool that can be heated. A misting system of essential oils has been added around the patio and pool to deter mosquitoes and noseeums. It also features a bait freezer, commercial ice machine and floating dock with kayaks.

Unique to this property is plenty of parking space for your boat, trailer and vehicles. The home is in a secluded residential private setting in the heart of Marathon. The canal is private to the two rental homes on the property with a large docking area that has a fish cleaning station and running water. Three kayaks, paddles and life jackets are provided from a floating dock in the canal that is shared with the neighboring property. The dedicated canal opens directly to the Atlantic Ocean and is just minutes from Vaca Cut and the Gulf side of Marathon.

The home is surrounded by green grass with plenty of space for children to play and a driveway and parking area with room for a trailer and boat.

Next to property is a separate 4 bedroom rental home with its own pool. The two homes can be rented together as a family compound if there is availability.

The location is ideal for weddings and other family celebrations.

Excellent Property--we will return!

We stayed @ Yellowtail House for a week. It was totally as described. Pool and house were excellent. We were even able to park our 35' 5'th wheel in the sideyard while we enjoyed the house/pool/ocean with our kids/grandkids. There is a separate freezer and commercial ice maker in a side porch room. It is on a dead end street so very little traffic, it is quite quiet. Iguana's everywhere of various sizes and even a manatee in the canal that enjoyed the fresh water from the dock hose. The essential oil fogging system keeps the mosquitos/no-see-ums to almost zero. Our 16-year old grand daughter got a scopion sting on the pool patio one night, so be vigilant. Wi-Fi was weak until I found the router inside a metal table, on it's side under the living room TV. Rented a boat from All Aboard Boat Rentals to snorkle on Sombrero Reef, would recommend them. Kim Portner was an excellent property manager.

Incredible homes! We stayed at both Yellowtail & Tarpon Houses

Kim is awesome! We absolutely loved our vacation at Yellowtail house so much that we extended our stay and stayed across the driveway at Tarpon house. Both houses are incredibly comfortable and very well decorated. We also loved that both homes are so super clean. The homes are located in their own secluded and quiet driveway off the street, with a beautiful view of the canal. Another plus is the 24 hrs Walgreens about a 3 minute drive away. Pools at both houses are very well maintained and warm. We had zero complaints and we would definitely come back again. You will not be disappointed. Thank you again!

Amazing house and the best agent

Kim Porter is the best agent in the Keys. Our family trip was great thanks to her. We had too many problems with our first rental house and we were forced to leave it. Then we met Kim and she arranged this beautiful, clean house for us just in one day! We enjoyed every single day after we arrived to this property. We loved everything about the rental. Couldn't have asked for more!

The property was impeccable and much more than we expected. Incredibly clean inside & out, nicely landscaped and furnished, well stocked kitchen with all the necessities to cook from "home". Great location for sure! Kim, the property manager, was amazing and very accommodating, which with 5 people all arriving at different times via plane and car, was a lifesaver! The weather for our stay was chilly, windy, and periodically rainy. We were very happy we splurged for the pool heat. Since the weather wasn't ideal, we spent a lot of time inside the rental. The house feels very homey and comfortable, making it very easy to relax and kill time inside. The kayaks were a surprising plus! We took them out everyday between the rain. I would highly recommend this property to any one planning a trip to the Keys.

Amazing trip

KIM was incredible! She found us this house on such short notice; after a terrible mix up with a different property manager. She went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed and was so wonderful we have already requested her help for next year's vacation. This house was perfect for our group, there was no question about the cleanliness, and the pool made for an added bonus. Would love to stay in this house again, yet we need to be a tiny bit north. Highly recommended this property for adults only or for families, and I recommend Kim Porter even more!

Awesome property! Awesome manager!

We have stayed in many VRBO homes in the past. We have never had a manager like Kim. She was so easy to work with and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She always responded to any questions or concerns right away.

The home was very comfortable and decorated very nice. Although the home is a little small, it did not affect our stay at all. The bedrooms are all a good size and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped. The view to the ocean was wonderful and we always had a good breeze to cool us off while sitting by the pool. It was very convenient having the dock for the boat and wave runner that we brought with us. Fishing, snorkeling and just boat riding were just a few of the things that we enjoyed and were very close. The property was very private and the home was very comfortable. We enjoyed ourselves so much, that I have already told several of our friends about it. There is a very nice large home on the property that if you have several families it would be an awesome place for everyone. We will definitely stay there again if we go back to Marathon.
