Indulge yourself by staying away from the hustle and bustle and come relax in the true country. You won't have to deal with any traffic jams or overcrowded beaches in our little corner of paradise! This spacious island home was built and situated to take advantage of the cool hawaiian trade-winds and hear the sound of the waves crashing year round.

Miles of golden sand, and waters filled with sea turtles and tropical fish are just a short walk away. The public beach access is located just two blocks down from the house.

Lovely historic Haleiwa town is less than ten minutes away and is filled with everything from amazing eateries (both casual and upscale) to unique gift shops, and everything in between including a local grocery store, local craft fairs and farmers' markets with fresh produce grown here on the north shore.

Visit art galleries filled with local artists, choose from an array of surf shops providing surf lessons, kayaking and paddle board tours of our coastline or the beautiful Anahulu River. Try them all and pick your favorite SHAVE ICE spot, Or perhaps mosey down to the harbor to rent jet skis or charter your own fishing boat and bring home dinner!

For the adventurous Haleiwa Harbor is home to the only 2 shark cage tours on the island. Get your adrenaline rush by coming face to face with the oceans most majestic predator.

If that's not for you a better option may be Sharks Cove (don't be fooled by the name)-located 15 minutes up the coast it's a protected wildlife sanctuary and boasts some of the islands best snorkeling perfect for small children (when the surf is calm) and adults alike.

Our home is situated less than one mile from the Polo fields, get a birds eye view of the north shore by taking sky diving/glider rides at Dillingham airfield or maybe pack a lunch and go explore one of the many hiking trails located within a few miles of the house.

Our home is very clean, casual, well taken care of and all of the appliances are in excellent working condition. The bedrooms are furnished with brand new mattresses, high thread count linens and are very comfortable. Tropical decor makes you feel like you are living at an island retreat. Guests have their own private parking.

The sky is incredible at night because we have minimal street lights to interfere with the brilliance of the stars and moon. We have great relationship with our neighbors and intend to keep it that way so NO PARTIES please.

Wonderful stay on the North Shore

  • 4 of 5

We spent 2 weeks in Oahu the first week at this property and the second at a resort in Ko Olina. There were 5 of us, 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 child. The house gave us plenty of space but with a few limitations. There was only 1 bathroom which was an inconvenience but not a huge issue, and there is only 1 TV in the house which isn't a big deal for me but it is hard for 3 young people to agree on anything to watch on TV at night. The only other issue we had was that the place needed some dusting. The worst was the ceiling fans, most were coated with dust. But over all the rest of the place was clean. We also couldn't find a way to walk down to the beach just minutes away but that wasn't a major issue to us as we usually drove to some of the nearby beach parks anyway.

If you are looking for a nice quite place to stay away from all the tourism on the southern part of Oahu this is a great choice. We would definitely consider a stay here in the future.

Very cozy and family friendly

  • 4 of 5

Very comfortable for a family of five. Had all the amenities we needed however not our idea of what walking distance to the beach is. Very nice location. Air conditioning a definite plus. Owner was quick to respond when we had a question. We would stay again.

Comfortable, Clean and perfect for our family of 5

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this 3 bedroom holiday house. It was clean and comfortable and a great base for us to explore the North Shore. Mark was great and quick to respond to my emails. The area was very quiet (except for a few roosters which we got used to) and it was a treat to be less than 10 mins walk to a lovely beach. We only had 4 days there but would like to come back and see some more of the area.

Great country setting

  • 5 of 5

We are a family of 6 (all 4 boys are now adult men, but not married) and had plenty of room for sleeping and kicking back whenever we were at the house. The beach was a short walk from the house and very enjoyable to watch the sunset or go searching for turtles. The AC in each room was very helpful for sleeping at night as we were able to shut the windows and regulate the temperature, as well as shut out the sound of the roosters. We slept very well that way. Mark was very accommodating to get us in a bit early after we arrived on the island and supplying what we needed. He was just a quick text away for communicating (or phone call if preferred). The house was clean and all worked well. We were only a half hour away from most everything we chose to do. The food in the Haleiwa area was delicious, however, we mostly ate our own cooking and sandwiches to keep the cost down. This house would be a great location to stay unless you crave being in the crowds of Honolulu.
