About Property Manager
I am from Detroit and moved to the desert of Arizona in 1969. To escape this heat my husband and I built a cabin in Pinetop AZ. Because it was so often rented out we decided to build another so we'd have a place to stay. The first was in the heart of Pinetop so we built this one out in the middle of the National Forest. It has a totally different feel and atmosphere. Both are equally enjoyable but for different reasons.
Property Manager purchased this Cabin in 2011

Wonderful fall getaway!
This cabin was delightful....fully stocked, located in a beautiful valley just 10 minutes from Pinetop. We thoroughly enjoyed hiking, as well as sitting on the back porch watching the blue Jays! The cabin was immaculately clean, roomy and perfect. We couldn't have asked for more! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.
What a pleasure and blessing to be able to share my home with other people who appreciate it. It’s a little gem, for sure. Hope to have you back in the future! You are always welcome.
Felt Like Home
The cabin has everything that you would need for your stay. The location seems away from it all but is actually very convenient to town. The owner was very responsive to my inquiries including a problem with the TV and wanting to extend my vacation time. The only suggestion that I would have is to increase the wattage of the light bulbs in the lamps, especially in the bedrooms.
Glad you enjoyed your stay. I will definitely look into the light issue. Every light fixture has a limit to the wattage it can safely tolerate so on my next trip up there I will maximize the wattage on each. I think it can also be an issue with the darker shades on the lamps. When you’re used to the intense sunshine of the desert it’s difficult to adapt to the shade provided by those pine trees at the front of the house. I am looking into skylights or additional can lights. I love the desert sunshine, it’s addictive, I just hate the heat! Thank you for the input & please come back again!
Perfect Mountain Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean, charming decorations and relaxing porch to sit on and watch wildlife. We hope to return in the future. Highly recommend. Property manager was very responsive to our needs.
So happy it checked off all the boxes, making it an enjoyable experience. That's what I strive for & it's nice to hear I succeeded in the opinions of my clients. Please do come back again! You are always welcome. Take Care.
Perfect place to relax and kick back
Very cozy home with covered porches front and back, right on the edge of the forest. Quiet except for the blue jays coming in for the peanuts we threw out to them every morning. The squirrels grabbed what the blue jays didn’t...more entertaining than watching a movie. If you want to do that, there is dish tv in the living room and one of the bedrooms, as well as Wi-Fi. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice garage to park the car. We didn’t want to leave, but will be back next year. Mary, the property manager, is wonderful to work with and very responsive.
Thank you for the kind review. Nothing makes me happier than knowing people appreciate it & want to return year after year. I really agree that the location is a gem. It's as peaceful as the home is cozy. Perfect combination. Take care & I look forward to having you again next year!
Enjoyed the pines
3rd time we have been asked to review. Hope this is the last. Good property. Good area. Yes we will use again.
Oh my goodness, that is so odd that a review would be requested 3 times! I am so sorry but I can assure you it was not on my end. I do not pester my clients as I would not appreciate that myself. I am glad you enjoyed your stay & I would love to have you back again. Take care, Mary
Beautifully built and furnished cabin.
A treasure of a place out in the woods away from the traffic and bustle of the town. Wonderful covered deck facing the forest. Blue Jays that come for peanuts and fluffy gray squirrels too. Lovely hide-away, private, quiet. Nice areas for walks also. Thoughtful owner.
Thanks for the sweet review. I love having my cup of coffee out on the back deck with the morning sun & the shaded front deck for the rest of the day. Those Stellar Jays & Squirrels are the icing on the top providing hours of entertainment. I'm glad you enjoyed the location as well for it's close proximity to town as well as it's privacy & peacefulness. I hope you come again - You're always welcome!
Everything is a short 10 minute drive into the heart of Pinetop!
