We've named our condo 'Alii Breeze' for its oceanfront location on Alii Drive and the wonderful ocean breeze that reaches our lanai (balcony) by day and night. Located on the main north-south drive along the ocean, our spacious, sunny Alii Breeze has many amenities to offer. It's central location allows you to walk to a variety of restaurants, shops, swimming and activities. The community trolley is also available if you do not have a car. The 270° view from the lanai is so mesmerizing you may never want to leave the condo. Whether you are in Kona to swim, dive, fish, cycle, dine or just relax and watch the sunsets, Alii Breeze is the best starting point for your island adventures.

Alii Breeze has 1 bedroom and 2 baths, as well as a Queen sofa bed. There is a 780 sq. ft. of living space and a 120 sq. ft. lanai. We are completely stocked with all that you need to enjoy condo living.

A great coffee shop is at the base of the building and opens at 6:30am. So many restaurants are within walking distance, there are too many to name. A guest book will provided additional informaton about the vicinity.

Various sporting and cultural events take place every month in Kailua-Kona. You may choose to mingle, participate or just enjoy the view from your lanai. The Ironman World Triathlon will pass directly below the lanai.

There is a large communal pool for you to refresh and a BBQ area when feel like dining in.

Alii Breeze has the ideal location for visitors who enjoy ocean activities and the convenience of a village. Restaurants and shopping within steps of the property. The condo is spacious and homey and has unsurpassed ocean views rare to many other area condos.

What makes this condo unique

Our lanai views are the 2nd best in the whole building. The best is right above us on the top floor. From our balcony you can see west straight out over the ocean, way above any utility lines, and you can view the palms and village to the north, as well as the mountains to the east. The ocean breaks below and the ocean breezes reach you from the western and northern directions. Guests love their time in this condo.

Many historical sites are within walking distance of the condo. Or you may take the community trolley or one of the bus coaches that offer excursions around the island or to Volcano National Park. Additionally, many cultural and community events take place on Alli Dive below your lanai during the year including Ironman World Triathlon, King Kamehameha Day parade and many other sporting events, parades and fishing tournaments.

Awesome View at Alli Breeze

This very large and comfortable 1 bedroom condo has the most amazing view of the ocean. My husband and I enjoyed the large lanai and spent every morning there with our cups of Kona coffee. At night we keep the lanai doors open so we could hear the ocean and feel the cooling breezes. The condo is

attractively furnished and close to many great restaurants. We would definitely return for a second visit.

Excellent location and well accommodated.

We had a very pleasant stay in the apartment using it as a home base for visiting a few beaches nearby. It really does have a great breeze both on the lanai and within making it conducive to an afternoon nap after hiking and beach going. The interior is dated but very well equipped including some thoughtful starter items such as toiletries and kitchen consumables. The location is also great for walking to bars, restaurants, and shops and watching sea activity - we saw a group of dolphins from the apartment. All in all a good value with the basics covered and a special location.

Excellent location and comfortable condo.

The condo was as described in the listing with a location right in the heart of Kona and a spectacular ocean view. We were within easy walking distance of restaurants and shopping and there was good security to ensure only tenants could access the condos. The lanai was large and adequately furnished. Although there was no A/C in the unit, fans are provided and ceiling fans kept the air moving. The living area was a good size and very bright and open. The kitchen, though small, was well stocked with all necessary supplies. Although the condo and building are older, it was well maintained. The pool and BBQ area were also a great benefit when you don't want to go to the beach. Having laundry facilities in the unit was very convenient.

We found the owner very easy to deal with and quick to respond to our questions and we would recommend this unit to others.

Beautiful location with lovely sunsets

We visited Kona Alii in November and had a wonderful time. The location is great very central to the village of Kona. It is easy to walk to the shops, farmer's market and restaurants. The condo is well stocked and very comfortable. We entertained friends and family on many evenings and everyone loved the view along great seating areas to visit and a large table for eating. The waves crashing on the shoreline can be heard clearly. We slept with the patio doors wide open and a nice breeze flowed through to the bedroom. During warmer months, it may not be as comfortable. Thanks for sharing your great condo with us!

Amazing view!

My husband, two daughters, and I stayed here for 4 nights. The view from the balcony is stunning and we fell asleep listening to the waves crash on the shoreline every night. The owners truly care about their condo and it shows i lots of little areas. Some of the finer points:

Very safe and secure - they actually close a gate to Ali'i Drive at night.

Nice people maintain the complex and the residents are friendly.

Parking was easy and close.

Snorkeling gear and a cooler ready for use.

Both beds were very comfortable - even the pull out!

Very spacious.

Excellent "home base" for exploring the Kona side of the island.

Lots of good food choices - just use Yelp. All the "normal" stores are close by!

Nothing was missing - and there were even some necessities already there...

Having two bathrooms was great.

Pool was clean and cool.

Alii Breeze condo is in an excellent central location whether you have a car or not. So many attractions and are activities are available to you in the near vicinity. The Aloha spirit is evident as soon you walk out the door. Enjoy the sun, surf and culture of Hawaii with so many things to do, you'll want to return to Alii Breeze again and again.
