Such a fun place to stay for a girls getaway! Plenty of room and the first floor entry makes it super convenient for luggage. Perfect location! Would highly recommend!
We stayed here for a girls weekend. It was perfect for both staying in Friday night and going out Saturday night! With it being on the first floor and right next to the gate, we had no problem lugging all of our suitcases in and out. The modern style made for a welcomed change from regular hotels. And the beds are extremely comfortable! We would definitely stay here again.
The location of this property was excellent. The property was clean and the furnishings were nice. My issue is that we were charged an additional amount of $87.03 (it came from Homeaway - a company used by Turnkey). This amount was above the rental agreement/contract amount and never discussed. I had to be persistant to find out what the charge was and was unable to get it removed.
One other thing... ensure the doors and windows are locked at all times. TWICE over three nights two different men tried to enter the unit both late at night. One through the front door and a second time through the dining room window. The man trying to enter through the window was half way in when our shouting stopped him. We had no idea the window was unlocked.
My 3 girlfriends and I chose this condo because of the location and the number of beds (we all wanted our own bed). The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. The condo is surrounded by restaurants and bars so finding a place to eat and drink was easy. We were we glad though that we rented a car so that we could see some sights and other areas in and around Austin. The drive to the L.B. Johnson ranch was well worth the drive and it was fun stopping along the way shopping in the small local stores. The first day of our 4 day visit we took a 2 hour tour of the city with Austin Detours and really enjoyed that as it gave us a feel for the city and a little history as well. We especially enjoyed going to Esther's Follies one night which was an easy walk from the condo. * The reason I rated the condo with only 3 stars is that it is very noisy at night and into the wee hours of the morning. The condo is a corner first floor unit so the streets are right outside the windows. Also, the steps to the condos above this unit are right on the other side so you can hear people talking and going up and down the stairs all hours of the night. If you are planning on staying out late at night, or are a very heavy sleeper, this unit would be fine for you.
