A nice house, well furnished, and convienent to much of Austin as it is just off of Mopac. It's a nice neighborhood to walk in and the neighbors are most pleasant.
It's quiet during the days and evenings. The beds are comfortable and showers are first rate.
Would stay there again and give it 5 stars if the dilapidated dining room chairs were replaced.
Overall we were very happy with it.
I live in Austin but needed someplace close to me and everything else for my sister and her family. This condo easily accommodated five adults and one baby. While very dated everything was clean. Any one with mobility issues would not be able to stay here but it's really close to downtown, Zilker Park, and easy access to major highway.
My experience with the rental company, price, and overall communication was excellent. I recommend this property as clean, convenient, and quiet.
Loved the location, easy access to downtown and shopping. Home is nicely furnished with really comfortable bedding and inviting. Access is a little easier through the garage door. A deck off of every room was definitely a plus! :) Definitely recommend for the space, location, and cleanliness. Much more comfortable and easier than a hotel stay.
Upon arrival, it is a bit confusing. You are unsure of where to park and where to enter as the residence that is rented is the "back" facility. It would be helpful to put the "B" in the address when giving directions. Once that hurdle was done, we found the entrance and walked into a very nice place. The upstairs bedrooms were immaculate as were the bathrooms. The main bedroom is very large and has a very comfortable bed. All bedrooms had a balcony which (despite the high heat and humidity) were very nice to relax on in the morning and night. The kitchen was clean and the laundry room was nice to have with all of the swimming and walking that we did. There were a few quirks: The upstairs master bedroom light would not turn off without turning the fan off which made for warm nights, the downstairs is very dark due to the heavy curtains, and the carpet is in serious need of replacement or cleaning. The antique furniture is beautiful and one must be patient with the fact that the furniture is indeed old and therefore not in perfect condition. We found this part of the house particularly charming. The true only complaint we had was the kitchen needs: It would have been nice to have a start up coffee supply (we bought some to leave for the next guest), and wine glasses, plastic glasses, and more plates. Please note that the stairs are very steep leading up to the bedroom. As far as proximity it is PERFECT for downtown (quick cab/Fasten ride or drive) and very close to Zilker Park and it's beautiful attractions. It was quiet, we felt safe, the internet was wonderful as was the satellite tv. All in all a very nice stay.
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Five of us stayed at this property for the weekend of ACL. It was located conveniently close to the hike and bike trail. You can easily walk to Zilker Park or bike as we did. It was close to restaurants, close to downtown, but far enough away to be nice and quiet. The house has an open concept and felt very spacious. Definitely recommend staying here.
