Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
This is a beautifully decorated home just a mile from both the beach and the bay. We were two families with 8 people total. The bedding configuration is perfect so the kids didn't have to share a bed. Keep in mind, though, that one of the upstairs bathrooms is a "jack and jill", shared between a kids room and an "adult" room (queen bed). The master bathroom is also a little weird in that there is no door into it from the bedroom and no shower door (just a large shower alcove). Other than that, the house is nicely furnished and has a great open floor plan on the lower level.
The Beach Comber house was very clean and exceeded all of our expectations. The kitchen is very large and it has a good size dining room. The garage is a little small so you can only fit one car, no trucks, in it. Overall i would recommend the house.
All expectations were met or exceeded. It was a wonderful family holiday.
My only complaint is that the garage door, while being automated, didn't have a remote. We had to get out of the car to open the garage. It was peculiar and inconvenient, but not a big deal.
This property and it's management met or exceeded all expectations. It was a wonderful and effortless holiday.
This is a beautiful home. Only problem; there were 6 beach bikes, and 10 of us. So when we went to the beach, we had to drive- less than 10 min. to the beach, but 20 minutes to find parking. It's about a 25 minute walk to Pacific Beach straight down Thomas Avenue.
Beds were very comfortable. Towels and sheets soft and clean. Plenty large enough for everyone to relax.
We did bring our own food for healthy, hot dinners each night. The kitchen was great. Had enough pots to cook for our 2 families (6 kids, 4 adults). Dishwasher worked great & was used every night. There is a food store just a few blocks away.
Great house with good amenities. Perfect kitchen and dining area for spending time with friends. We especially enjoyed having bikes available for the short bike ride to the beach!
