Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
This spot in Mission Bay is only a stones throw from the beach and while you don't have a lot of views of the ocean, you are in a quieter spot with no street traffic and little foot traffic as well. A great layout for our family - first floor bed/bath; second floor kitchen and living space with another bed/bath, and third floor with two bedrooms, bath and a day bed area that was perfect for our son and his family of 5. Nice space - worn a bit, but extremely comfortable. More than a handful of restaurants within a few blocks. The garage didn't fit our huge 15 person van, but there is some overnight parking a few blocks away (usually fills up). A responsive staff. We'd stay here again for sure.
The location of this property is great. It's a stones throw to the beach and there are more than a handful of really good dining spots within a few blocks. Great layout with three floors - 1st floor bed and bath, 2nd floor with bed/bath, kitchen, and living room, and third floor that had bath and plenty of room for my son, his wife and 3 kids. The only reason I didn't give the location a 5 was because it didn't have a clear view to the ocean - and frankly, you don't need one!
The proximity (one block from Mission beach and the walkway) was nice. The house was very worn, old comforters on the beds and worn furniture and carpet. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was nice. The pull out couch should NOT count as a sleeping option. The housekeepers were meticulous, something I notice when renting... the bathrooms and sinks were sparkling. Parking was an absolute hassle, very limited on the street and the "double garage" would only fit one vehicle.
Great location. House had all the basics necessary for our family and we enjoyed our stay there
It's pretty much what all the other reviews say. I loved there were ceiling fans in each room. The ceiling fans were a make or brake for me since there was no AC
