Overview

About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, Sleeps 4

Visit the Santa Cruz mountains and get away to the small town of Felton, California! This unique, two bedroom vacation home has everything you'll need to relax and take in the gorgeous, postcard-perfect, treetop views!

Located between San Jose and Santa Cruz, it's just 12 miles to the beaches and famous boardwalk, with attractions like Loch Lomond Reservoir and Quail Hollow Ranch right near this Tree Top View Cabin. Leave all the hubbub behind and unwind at this charming retreat in the woods.

Three flights of stairs assure a gorgeous view, but they also might be difficult for those with any mobility issues. But once you reach the welcoming front porch, you'll have a perfect outdoor spot for reading a book or sipping morning coffee.

This Felton cabin boasts tall ceilings, a woodstove, comfortable furniture, and even WiFi so you can stay in touch. Entertainment amenities include cable TV and a DVD player so you'll be able to gather everyone around for an after-dinner movie.

You'll have a full kitchen for delicious vacation. At night there are two bedrooms with a queen and a full bed, and one full bathroom. Up to four guests will be able to stay comfortably here. And if you want to bring your dogs, know that a nightly pet fee applies, and please be advised that dogs need to stay off of the couch and bedding. Because of the size of this unit, bigger dogs may be more comfortable on the deck.

Ideal for a family getaway, from both the busy Bay Area and beach town congestion, Felton offers easy access to Santa Cruz attractions, but away from the tourists. Right in town, there are state parks, hiking trails, a Farmers Market, and nearby wineries to explore!

This Central California vacation home in the trees will delight your whole group and provide a memorable home base near activities in Santa Cruz and beyond!

About Vacasa, CA - Central California Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Peaceful

 • 4 of 5

Our stay was fine. We enjoyed the scenic view and how close it was to the state park where we enjoyed a 4.6 mile hike. The power went out once, and came back on about 20 minutes later. I did not catch that there was no AC and upon arrival, the temperature was 86 degrees and remained that warm throughout the evening until middle of the night-it was pretty miserable. I did see that we were to turn off the thermostat upon departure, but didn't realize that was indicating heal only, was at this home. I was glad there was at least one box fan to put near the window for cool air. The house was nice and relaxing. Amenities were clean and well cared for. Pots could use some updating as they are scratched with some rust. Toilet Paper provided was very scratchy and what I would expect from a hotel, not a home I am renting.

Peaceful & comfortable stay!

 • 5 of 5

Sweet spot in a cute neighborhood in the mountains. We loved the easy access to Loch Lomond and getting to retreat back to a comfortable cabin after navigating the Santa Cruz crowds.

Cute Cabin In Hills

 • 3 of 5

Had a great week-end visiting with family. Cabin was great well equipped with all the necessities. It is an exciting drive getting there, curvie road and a little steep. Too bad for us it rained most of the time. Wifi was great, but could use an updated TV. Overall a great little cabin in the hills.
