About Stephanie Wallace
Interior Designer who moved to Nashville from Los Angeles.
Stephanie Wallace purchased this Apartment in 2013
Why Stephanie Wallace chose Lockeland Springs
I purchased this home because this is the best neighborhood to live in Nashville. The house needed some major renovations but that is just what I love to do. The apartment is at one end of the house and I live on the other side. An added benefit is the neighbors are the best in the world!!
What makes this Apartment unique
We have so many restaurants and shops in our 'hood'. Walking distance to Eastland Cafe, Two Ten Jack Ramen House, Silly Goose, Rose Pepper Mexican, Pomodoro East, Jenni's Ice cream, The Wild Cow, Ugly Mugs, Portland Brew, Sweet Sixteen Bakery. Lockland Table is a few more blocks away and 5 Points is about 5 minutes drive with Margot's, Marche, The Tree House, 5 Points Pizza,Bonga Java, Barista Parlor among others.

Good for a couple or small family
This worked well for us when we were in Nashville for a wedding. All of the out-of-town friends were in VRBO's in the same quiet East Nashville neighborhood. The locale was convenient with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. The park was good for walking, and we had everything we needed, even condiments in the fridge, tea and coffee, etc.
Full of Character
We loved this place! It is loaded with Character and in a great location. Very easy to access. The Owner made the process extremely easy and the unit had everything we needed then some. The single beds are probably better suited for kids than adults but they were sufficient for a weekend get-a-way. We would not hesitate to stay here again!
Charming and cozy!
This was such a fun neighborhood to stay in, and the apartment felt like home. Some of our best memories in this trip was curling up in the living room with the kids talking and laughing, and this was just the place for it. The apartment is lovely, as is the neighborhood. It was a perfect retreat.
A perfect weekend getaway
My husband and I had a wonderful time on our Nashville getaway, much of it thanks to this lovely apartment. It is located in a quiet, peaceful, cute neighborhood within walking distance of a park and a handful of delicious restaurants. We walked to Graze and Five Daughters for our breakfasts (yum), and took a quick drive to the Five Points area one night for dinner/drinks and to Vinyl Tap another night for a drink. It's a quick ten-minute drive or Uber to the downtown area (or a 3-mile walk if you want to get in those steps). The apartment itself is clean, well decorated, and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
Two couples came for the weekend. Loved the apartment, cozy, beds comfy, clean. The gift basket was so sweet. Liked being in the east area, Uber was easy to everything. Loved five points pizza. Stephanie was great!
Loved it! Would certainly recommend.
A friend and I used this lovely apartment as our base for a four-day visit to Nashville. The apartment is well-decorated, clean and really comfortable. The outdoor sitting is a nice extra, though for our visit the weather wasn't warm or sunny enough to enjoy it. .
A great decision to be in a quite residential neighborhood. We had a rental car for convenience to some of the outlying attractions, but always Ubered to downtown (both cheaper and easier than driving to downtown (and paying for parking). We ate at some good East Nashville restaurants - about a mile from the house, walk or short drive.
Everything was so orderly upon our arrival that we had no need to contact Stephanie, the owner, until the final day, but she is readily available, warm and really helpful.
