Why Clive & Jackie Thomas chose Alcossebre
A great large family villa.

Lovely property- excellent for a big family. Rob and Yvonne looked after us really well.
A great place to be for holidays !
This is a very beautiful house with everything we need. Exactly as it is on the photos. We spent 2 weeks and a half in this wonderful place. For two families with teenagers the house is big enough so that everyone has its own place. The view on the sea is just amazing !
Thank you very much Rob and Yvonne for your kindness, your reactivity and your smile.
We recommend strongly this great place for holidays especially for families with kids.
For sure, we will come back !
Amazing Property, loved our stay.
The property is wonderful, very clean and well equipped. There are lots of areas to socialise and also enough space to sit quietly and have alone time if you wish. We could have spent the week without leaving the villa at all. When we did go into the town it's not touristy at all very authentic. There were 3 in our party with walking sticks so the stairs were a challenge as from the villa from the pool to the top floor is over 4 levels.
The one negative was I chose this property because it says that the beach and town centre are between 400 to 700 meters and I thought we would be able to walk to a beach and the town centre. The Beach is a good 20 mins walk for a fit person down a gravel path so if you have anyone in your party that is not fit or slightly unsteady of there feet it is definitely not walkable and taxis are very scarce in the town centre. We hired two cars so we drove everywhere so it wasn't an issue.
We booked this Villa for a family of three generations and it could not have worked better.
It was beautifully furnished, more than enough crockery and cutlery for everyone. The views were absolutely spectacular.
The whole experience was first class from the start, with Clive and Jackie seeing to everything administration wise in a personal and professional matter. Any queries were answered quickly and efficiently.
On the ground out there Yvonne was an absolute star! Our flight was late getting in and we got lost on the way. We had three small children with us, we rang her to ask her to direct us in, but she actually came out and we followed her in.
There was a substantial welcome pack on our arrival.
On the Sunday the boiler broke down so we had no hot water, we rang Yvonne late morning and by 2.30 it was fixed! First class service. The pool maintenance man was in every couple of days checking the chemical levels.
Unfortunately during the second week, three of us had to leave unexpectedly, due to a family bereavement. Again Yvonne was a star, sorting out transport to the airport and printing off boarding passes for us.
I cannot praise the villa and the staff highly enough - we will definitely be back!
Thank you everyone, you work well as a team.

The photos of the Villa on this website do not give it justice! This is, hands down, the best Villa we have ever stayed in. Every room was clean and tidy including all balcony’s (which there are 2 very large ones and a massive 360 degree veranda) as well as the garden and pool area.
The Villa is very modern and had everything you would need for a very comfortable stay including ping-pong, a pool table and an array of books. The decor and furniture has been changed since the photos were taken and there was a lovely 6 seater table on the main balcony, which we spent most of our time eating and chatting with our friends until the small hours
The owners have catered for everyone at this property including the use of 2 cool boxes which we used to take lunch on to the beach instead of purchasing food out.
The area around the pool has been changed and instead of a lemon grove there is now a very ampule setting area for any outside dinner or for a place in the shade.
The property is just a 5mins drive from the main town which has a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants
We spent most of our time on the amazing beach which was clean and very safe for any family travelling with children – there were lifeguards patrolling all day as well as a lot of disabled facilities fully catered for.
The Villa has to be seen to believed – I was in owe of its presents as soon as the main gates were opened and this only increased the longer we stayed.
I just wanted to say thank you very much and we are already looking forward to visiting again next year.
Great propety very well equipped
We have just returned from a superb holiday at Casasoñada which is in a lovely location with views over Alcossebre, the sea and surrounding countryside and only a 20 minute drive from Castellon airport. The property was very easy to find. There is a large well stocked supermarket about 5 minutes drive away.
The villa was ideal for our family group of 10 ranging in age from a baby to grandparents. The property was spotlessly clean and the fixtures and fittings were all of a high standard. There was plenty of room to prepare family meals and more than enough space to eat indoors or outside on the wonderful balcony with fantastic views. A wide range of appliances were available including a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier etc etc. The property is so spacious that it was always easy to find a quiet spot with a lovely view.
All equipment was as described and everyone was happy with the large television with Sky keeping the sports fans happy. The internet was reliable and fast enabling teenagers to keep their social media sites up to date. The pool table, darts and table tennis provided entertainment for the more competitive and the pool was one of the biggest we have had at a villa. The area around the pool is a suntrap and is well sheltered with plenty of room for sun worshipers. The large gas barbecue was great for leisurely evening meals.
The bottom floor, although not fully self contained, has 2 bedrooms, a sitting room and an extra television as well as a food prep area with an extra fridge. This was an ideal area for a family of 2 adults a baby and a toddler as it was convenient for preparing the babies bottles. The fridge provided extra space for the beer and wine lovers. No need to walk up to the kitchen from the pool for a cool drink.
With limited baggage allowances it was a bonus that pool towels as well as bath towels were provided.
The booking arrangements went smoothly and the caretakers met us at the villa when we arrived. They were helpful and attentive and promptly answered any queries we had. I would highly recommend this property to large families, or groups of friends.
Alcossebre is situated in the unspoilt region of the Costa del Azahar (The Orange Blossom Coast) just north of Valencia. It has retained its beauty and traditional features with few high rise hotels.
The lovely Alcossebre beaches (blue flag) are perfect for families and water sports are at hand.
The Marina has a good selection of bars, restaurants and ice-cream parlors. You can also find a diving school and boat hire here.
A short stroll from here is La Fuentes Beach with natural springs which form ice cold pools on the beach, which children love to play in.
On the edge of Alcossebre is the beautiful Sierra de Irta natural park just waiting to be explored by hikers and cyclists.
Hire a speed boat or take a boat trip to the Islas Columbretes, a group of tiny volcanic islands which has prolific bird life and great for scuba diving.
Visit the Medieval Castle at Peniscola built by the Knight Templars on a rocky peninsula and featured in the film El Cid.
Children and grown ups alike will enjoy go-karting or splashing around in the spectacular water park in Benicassim.
For younger children there are novelty bikes and trikes along the promenade and a great mini golf. The Galatic Park is great fun and the trip on the little local tourist train is not to be missed.
Couples can chill out in the numerous bars and restaurants, enjoying sangria and tapas or the traditional Valencian paella and then dance the night away in one of the local nightspots.
Both the cities of Barcelona and Valencia are in easy reach and make a great day trip out.
