The two-story Gulf-front home features three bedrooms (2 Kings, 1 Queen, and Bunk beds with twin on top and full on bottom) and three full bathrooms. Each bedroom has been outfitted with flat screen televisions. There is a family dining table suited for eight people as well as a bar with counter height stools providing additional seating for three. The home also features an outdoor pool and spa, outdoor shower, 2-car garage, and outdoor gas grill, not to mention Wi-Fi access and Sonos speaker system.
The balcony located in the rear of the home offers panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico and outstanding evening sunsets.
My husband, 3 boys ages 20-24 and two of their girl friends just left after spending a week in this beautiful home. We miss it already!! The home was perfect and had everything we needed. The beach was fabulous! John's Pass and Clearwater was a hit for us! The only complaint is that the blender didn't work that great and a long mirror would have been nice for the ladies. We had so much fun in the sun, we can't wait to come back!
All The Best,
The O'Toole Family
This house was simply perfect. No complaints really. Everything was provided for cooking, cleaning, the beach, & the pool. I would put a long mirror somewhere for your guests. All mirrors just show the waist up and a girl needs to see how she looks when going out. The beach access from the house was not usable due to lots of overgrowth but the public access is directly beside the house and very convenient and clean. The price for the house is somewhat high when compared to some other houses that offer the same bedrooms and amenities to rent that we looked at around the area but we did enjoy our stay regardless. Saving up to enjoy another week there. Thank you.
We spent the last week of June at Eventide Oasis for our first family vacation with our children and grandchildren (6 adults and 3 children). What a perfect week! The house was beautifully appointed with everything we needed; the view was amazing; and the private pool was wonderful! The layout of the house was perfect for our three families and the location was convenient to everything we needed and wanted to do. We really enjoyed the deck, and it was one of our favorite places to hang out even in the heat of the day with the ceiling fans. The grandkids loved going back and forth between the beach and pool. The private path to the beach was overgrown but that wasn't a big deal because the boardwalk was next to the end of our driveway. It was also nice having the private sand area in the backyard for the grandkids to play in. Our family agreed we would love to return to Eventide Oasis! No disappointments here!
The property description was exactly as described in the rental listing. The clean and modern kitchen, baths and the pool were some of the main features enjoyed at the home. The location was very convenient to restaurants and entertainment. We would certainly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.
Everything was perfect! The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. The view is amazing. We spent our mornings at the beach and our afternoons in the pool.
I recently rented this property for a week-long vacation with my two boys, ages 6 & 3, and our nanny. It couldn't have been more perfect. In fact, I'm already thinking about renting it again next year - and hopefully bringing my husband along! :)
The property was just recently renovated, and they thought of every detail. Not only was everything high end - from the countertops to the fluffy Lands End towels - they even provided toiletries like soap and shampoo in all the bathrooms. It felt like we were staying in a 5-star hotel! The house had everything we could ask for. The kitchen was fully outfitted. And there was even a welcome basked with wine, chocolates, snacks, etc. There were beach towels, chairs, and a few toys. The outdoor shower was wonderful.
The house is sheltered from the beach by a big sand dune and plants, so it felt very private. But we still had a stunning view of the ocean and the sunsets. To access the beach, you can walk around the house to a boardwalk, which was very convenient. We had beautiful weather, so my kids played for 3 days straight on the beach. On a windier day, we decided to try out the pool. Our mistake was not to turn the heater on sooner. The kids didn't mind too much, but it was a bit chilly for us!
I wasn't sure about the kids' bedroom being on the 1st floor, while the other bedrooms and living space are upstairs. But it worked out just fine. My older son enjoyed sleeping on the top bunk. And my little one transitioned to a big bed on the bottom bunk (full-sized, not twin), so that was great! And then when my younger son was taking his nap, we could be upstairs and didn't have to be too quiet.
The wi-fi worked great. There were TVs in the two upstairs bedrooms and living area, but we never turned them on :)
From the pictures, I was expecting the house to be a little bigger. But there was plenty of room. The living space is open with the kitchen, dining, and living areas. The dining table was nice and big, so we could sit and eat meals on one end, and my kids could leave out their drawing things on the other end. The living area has a large leather sectional that was super comfy.
The two bedrooms upstairs each had king sized beds. They were also very comfortable. And there was a good amount of closet space.
We were able to walk to John's Pass, where there are lots of restaurants and shops. And in the other direction, about 4 blocks away, is the Shake Shop where we went regularly for soft-served ice cream.
