Travelling with your family or friends and want to stay all together? Prefer to cook by yourself while on the vacation? Or maybe you just want to feel yourself like home, not like in a hotel. If you have many people in your party, or want to have some privacy from your friends or kids - this great option will definitely suit your needs and expectations. Accommodates up to 6 guests.

This 1200sf apartment has 1 Queen bed in one bedroom and 2 Queen beds in the second bedroom, sofa (not a sofa bed) in the living room. Full kitchen features a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, dining table and chairs. All the utensils, plates, pots, glasses are provided.

The apartment is located in a hotel style building in the heart of Miami Beach on Collins ave and 51st street, framed by the beautiful beach on one side and spectacular sunsets over Biscayne Bay on the other. The building has direct beach access, two private tennis courts, swimming pool, mini-market, gym, full service front desk, 24/7 security, valet parking among other amenities.

The building is just 3 miles from South Beach (Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road, Convention Center). Midtown, Wynwood Art district, Downtown Miami, Port of Miami, Miami International Airport and Aventura mall are all about 15-20 minutes away. At the front desk you can get the information about the tours around Miami.

To get around you can take a FREE trolley ride (stops right in front of the building), take Uber (the best option in town) or rent a City Bike. If you own a car, the building offers a valet parking for $45 per day, ins and outs permitted. 2 blocks away there is a public parking lot, it is free from 6pm until 8am and $1/hour during the day.

Please note: The pictures represent several units with the similar interior and furniture. The exact unit is assigned upon arrival. All units have water view – either Ocean, Bay/Downtown or Partial Ocean/Bay view. To guarantee the Ocean view IN ADVANCE the building requires a fee of $25 per night. If you would like to opt in, please specify, so I will be able to adjust the price.

At check in, the building will charge a mandatory Resort Fee of $28.50 per night per unit. Resort fee includes 2 beach chairs, beach towels, wifi, gym access, tennis courts. Additional set of 2 chairs + 1 umbrella can be rented for $30.

This was the perfect place to celebrate my mom's 66th birthday. The condo was nice and accommodated the 4 of us comfortably. Check in was a breeze and everyone at the front desk was pleasant and very helpful. Grace is a sweetheart. Her and my mom hit it off instantly! We did not get the condo shown in the pics and we were happy with that because the one we stayed in was better. Thanks Grace! There was a slight hiccup after check in (housekeeping left some items in the room) but that was taken care of immediately and we didn't mind seeing that Mikhail allowed us to check in early. The condo was clean, bright and the view was amazing!! Perfect location and just a short trolley ride to anything you may need i.e. restaurants, stores, banks etc. The beach access was the absolute highlight of our stay and the pool staff was also very nice, especially Osmani- he too was a sweetheart (Mom liked him, a lot lol!). Overall, the condo was great and Mikhail was the perfect host! Thanks Mikhail!

Very relaxing

Although the complex is older, loved the location. It is much quieter than south beach. There are no restaurants nearby, but u can hop on the trolley and get to north or south beach relatively easily.

Bait and Switch

For months I researched properties in Miami for a vacation with my family which is my husband and 4 kids. We rented this property listed as "Terrific 2BR/2BA Suite for 6 Guests with Breathtaking Views, Oceanfront Building". I have rented properties from VRBO and HomeAway many many times and never had any issues. The property advertised is the one you get. Not in this instance. We arrived and were put in a unit on the 4th floor overlooking the garbage with a group of people smoking pot in the alley a few floors below. We immediately complained and could not reach the renter. HomeAway was fantastic and immediately contacted building management and arranged for us to get to a new unit but not until late the next day. Anyone traveling with 4 kids knows packing and unpacking is a pain and waiting another full day to start vacation was not on the plan. We still did not get the unit we rented. We were in an upper corner and could at least see the ocean- definitely not what is listed in the pictures or description of the property.

The unit itself was tired- broken dishwasher, doors off hinges, half the stove didn't work, bird crap encrusted on the balcony and window sills. The beach and staff at the property were lovely and helpful and the location was great. There is an amazing restaurant "Las Vegas" up the road.

However, what I rented was not what I received. NO where on the listing does it say there are many units to rent which is what the renter who has many units in the building is claiming. They list costs for Resort Fees and Parking but never mentioned anything about a fee for an ocean view. Why show a listing of a property and list it as breathtaking view if that is not what you are renting? Very shady and not good business practice at all.

The best way I can describe my Families experience, is in bullet point form, as follows:

- Added valet fees / resort fees + damage deposit at check-in ... be prepared for these charges.

- Issued (1) key ONLY ... (4) people, a constant hassle all week

- In order to access work out facility, needed to use only key for deposit ... once we realized this, walks on the beach became our exercise of choice ... not convenient in any form or fashion

- (3) towels, (1) wash cloth, (1) face towel ... (4) people ... tipped maid cash for extras

- No kitchen linens ... towels or dish cloths ... must bring everything including dishwasher soap, dish soap, paper products etc.

- Bugs, first day was met with screams as my daughter turned the kitchen light on ... floor / counter / one in a bedroom / one in the microwave when we arrived ... NOT in the bathrooms. Got a can of Raid from front desk (no charge) and sprayed daily ... we left the kitchen light on for the entire week, to keep the bugs in hiding ... yes, the infamous species that comes out in the dark !

- Paid for the "ocean view" and was happy we did ... great deck ... (1) chair ... (4) people

- Valet staff was courteous and professional 24/7 ... tips paid off

- TV's had audio issues on 2 of the 3 ... not a big deal but could not watch all of the channels due to the feedback

- Pool / Chairs / Tables / Umbrellas / Beach service ... Great ! Umbrella extra fee / additional chair extra fee ... several times there were abandoned chairs in the beach area which were allowed for use.

- Building security was present, the property seemed consistently secure ... we felt safe during our stay.

Overall, being together with my Family was great. The weather was terrific and the town was "happening" during this spring break period. We maintained a good attitude throughout our vacation, but there were some irritants throughout. Understandable things like construction noise and "out-of-service" elevators on a property of this era (1960's construction) were perhaps enhanced by other issues. Our experience was such that, we wouldn't do it again.

Note: We did not hear from a property representative during our stay.

Location is great

One of my favorite places to stay in Miami Beach. Location is great, because is very close to all the restaurants and clubs, but still very quiet, so you can have a peaceful time. That was my 4th stay, definitely coming again.

Happy customer

This is a nice place to stay at in Mid Beach. It was quiet and peaceful without the crazy crowds. We spent most of time on our huge balcony. However I would wish a few things were different. I wish the condo was a little upgraded. The door knobs were rusted and so were the shower heads. I also wish there was bar service on the beach. There is no food or drink service nearby so that was a little inconvenient. Overall, the owner was very nice with answering all our questions. By the way when your visting Miami you must try NAKED TACO its a great restaurant.
