San Gimignano is beautiful!
Such a nice place to stay inside the city walls! Highly recommend!
Thanks for your review, you have been wonderful guests
We loved this flat, it was a perfect spot to stay while enjoying San Gimignano. Nice quiet area still very close to the busier areas in town. Everyone was super helpful and we loved it!
Great location. Comfortable. Clean. A wee bit scruffy here and there. Worth it.
Location is excellent. Owner was helpful. Clean and fine for a short stay. Some things a bit dated and scruffy. Didn't spoil our stay in a lovely town.
Great location, warm and friendly
Great apartment for up to 4 people. We were 2 friends so the accommodation was perfect. Communication was first class and we were made to feel very welcome.
Location is great for exploring San Gimignano but also as a base for exploring Tuscany as a whole. Siena was only a 35 minute drive away.
Overall a very good place to stay!
One night equals a 3.5
We are experienced travelers and stayed here for just one night and that was fine. The location was perfect, the beds were comfortable and the space was plenty for two couples. The apartment was clean and quiet. The gentleman who welcomed us was helpful and pleasant. There was an air conditioner in one bedroom which was extremely helpful as there were no screens on the windows so we had to completely close up the apartment at night due to mosquitos. We were able to drive right into the walled city to drop off our luggage.
However, the reasons for giving the apartment a 3.5 are: the kitchen had plenty of pots and pans, but few usable dishes. Food preparation would be difficult. We prepared a cold supper and had to "make do" with utensils and dish ware. There were no extra kitchen or bathroom paper products that we could find. The posting lists parking, which we understand can be off-site. We were told on arrival we had to park in the 10min walk away public lot for 10 Euro which turned out to be 13 Euro. There should have been more specifics so we would have been aware. The explanation of the apartment was sparse. We had to discover the use of the air conditioner, had to ask specific questions on how to leave the apartment and key the next morning and were charged a tourist tax of 1.50 per person. We, of course, understood the cost, but it should be in the posting.
All in all, not a bad stay for one night, but not for more than two days.
Thanks for the review, we are in the historic center and as well understandable it is only possible to access the property, but not parking. I thought it was specified, but we will certainly try to expand the descriptions.
Good location in beautiful San Gimingnano
My wife and I, together with our son and daughter in law, recently stayed 3 days at Razzi and Massimo’s apartment in this beautiful hill town. The apartment was well located with only a short walk to the center of town. It was well stocked and roomy for the 4 of us. Massimo met us on one of the roads going into town and led us to the apartment. He also gave us some good tips on restaurants. Our stay was enjoyable. Perhaps the only issue was that there was air conditioning in only 1 of the bedrooms. That was not much of an issue with us however, as the weather was to terribly hot. Thanks Razzi and Massimo for letting us stay in your nice apartment!
Thank you for your review, your opinions are very useful for us
This activity is located in the oldest street in San Gimignano, the ancient 'Via Francigena', which was the road linking trade route between Rome and France. On the side of this road, in 1283, was born the hospital 'Donna Nobile' which it gets its name the activity.
San Gimignano today has the ability to help you relive the medieval atmosphere in which it was born. You can enjoy all this with a simple stroll through the shops, churches and museums that have our city. In summer there are also organized many cultural events, concerts of classical music, opera, or jez as well as many other entertainment events. You can also make beautiful walks in the countryside, or by bicycle, motorbike or horse riding or just relax tasting our wine and wonderful food.
