Condo was clean, spacious ,and adequately furnished. The amenities were great. Pleasant and quiet location bordering the Intracostal Waterway. Great walking. and biking trails. The only criticism we had as a family were that all the beds had uncomfortable mattresses. The guest bedrooms had mattresses that were very hard; the master had a mattress that you sunk into. Good thing was that the condo was a five minute ride to the beach over the bridge in Palm Coast.
I rented this Condo for family coming in for a wedding so I did not actually stay here. However, the family members that did said it was great and they had everything they needed. Unfortunately, there was not a lot of time to enjoy all of the amenities but they indicated the pool area was nice.
Very nice and clean!
Property was quite and well kept!
Overall very nice, we would rent again.
Very nice facility. Spacious and quiet, 6 miles to where we went to the beach. As far as location, I didn't love paying a $2 toll every time we went back to A1A but it was a nice location and many close conveniences.
The condo itself was spacious and clean. Downsides: the pool splash pad was closed for repairs. That happens but my kids were looking forward to it.
Guest bed mattress and twin mattresses were as hard as rocks. Literally the hardest, most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on in my life. Guest bath tub was clogged which was kind of gross. Master was nice and comfortable there, but we let our friends have the master so no good for us lol!
I read other reviews about it being a bad place for kids. It was clearly a more adult geared community but we had zero issues with my 2 and 12 year old. Other folks we spoke to were all kind and polite, both in community and at pool.
I'd stay again - but just not sleep in the guest bedroom!
Nice Condo, and great location
I rented this condo for a month, planning on having a wonderful time with my children here as we have rented here before. However, this stay was so terrible that we actually packed up and left almost 1 week early. Most of the owners here are older people who don't like children or young people. My 5 year old daughter was in tears after appologizing to an elderly lady because her pool noodle accidentally floated over by the lady. She told her to take her noodle and stay on the other side of the pool because that side was for adults. We were harassed on almost a daily basis for anything from playing with a frisbee at the pool to the people below us saying they could hear our foot steps after quiet time and even because my son had his bike on the sidewalk. The day we were leaving (5 days before our actual check out date because we were tired of getting griped at) my 8 year old son rode his bike over to the next building to tell some friends of his "good-bye" and one of the elderly women took his bike (which was pulled in behind the bushes because you aren't allowed to have a bike on the sidewalk) and hid it in the pool house closet and claimed she thought someone lost it. My children and the police searched for the bike to nearly 2 hours but it was nowhere to be found so my son had to leave without his bike. Two days later I received a message that the bike was found in the pool house closet and that I could have it shipped to me for $112. Needless to say, I will just be buying a new bike and never staying at Canopy Walk as well as letting anyone I know that wants to vacation in Florida with children, not to stay there either.
