The main living area is spacious at 34 ft diameter with wooden floors & two 5 1/2 ft round windows over looking amazing mountain views. Over 1000 square feet with massively high ceilings! Large kitchen with oven, open plan space; king bed/queen loft. The loft has a wonderful 'artsy' 2 1/2 foot wall made out of fence posts. You get sight privacy but not sound privacy due to the 'wall' being a fence! Check out the pictures. Off of the living room is a small reading nook, foyer & bath room with tub & shower. There is internet and a large selection of dvds and a few games for entertainment. Originally a huge 90 foot home with two monolithic domes turned into a duplex. Built for privacy with separate parking areas and 8 ft fence with one entrance in the front and the other in the rear, so you may not ever bump into your neighbor. It's the only house on the street - country living with the nearest neighbors about 1/4 mile away. Great for retreats, writers, meditation & country fun! If you have a small event, there is ample room in the living room and you can rent the other side of the duplex. As well three miles away in town I have a three room inn. Great if you're having a large event! Location-location!! 3 miles to town. No smoking. Pets are allowed with discussing my policy & agreeing. Kids and adults alike - love this place for it's beauty and uniqueness.

Spacious Clean and Quiet Dome home
We really enjoyed our short stay in Crestone. This done is way bigger than it looks, over 1,200 square feet. It was very quiet and clean. New shower tub. Kitchen has everything you could need. Views and location are spectacular. Try the brewery which is less than 10 mins away.
Quiet and perfect for our visit
I knew when we got Angie's welcome email we were in good hands. We wanted to see the lunar eclipse and this was the perfect spot. Just out of town and peaceful. It was comfortable and stocked perfectly. So great we could bring out little dog with us. We enjoyed going to the Crestone brewery for dinner and visited the hot springs. Wonderful experience and would stay there again!
Nice and quiet
The spacious dome is really charming. The area is quiet and peaceful. Crestone is a unique little town! The stars are absolutely beautiful, too.
Unique and Relaxing
We had a wonderful stay at the peaceful round! I would definitely stay there again:)
Great view. Home stocked with all the essentials. Great stay!
Lovely, relaxing, spacious home
My family and I were taking a side trip to the Great Sand Dunes National Park after a weekend at Copper Mountain for the Courage Classic (Annual Bicycling Fundraiser for Children's Hospital Colorado). It was difficult to find reasonably priced lodging, near the sand dunes, that would accommodate our family of 4 and our goldendoodle for one night. Fortunately I stumbled upon this gem and loved everything about it - It was more spacious than the pictures indicate, very neat and clean, comfortable beds, great shower, well-equipped kitchen (though we weren't there long enough to cook) - did appreciate having the refrigerator for all our travel food & drinks. I love the isolation of the home - so peaceful & quiet, with incredible 360 and night/sky views. Angie provided a nice, descriptive list of places to eat and things to do. We enjoyed dinner at the Crestone Brewing that had terrific options for our daughter (vegan) and son (gluten-free). It's just an hour drive to the dunes & Zapata Falls (which is a MUST-DO!), which we did after a quick breakfast at the Cloud Station Cafe. I have to say the only thing missing at this property is natural hot springs! ; ) (though I know there are some not too far away, which we did not take advantage of). We would have loved to stay another night, but hope to return soon! Thank you! the Long Family
