Enjoy this completely remodeled, 700 square foot apartment, located on the fifth floor (with elevator) of a classic Haussman building of 'Pierre de Taille.'
This beautifully designed and fabulously located two bedroom, two bath, Non-Smoking apartment is situated at the western edge of the fifth arrondissement, just one block from the Jardin du Luxembourg and just a few minutes from the Pantheon as well as renowned schools like the Sorbonne.
This fabulous apartment has undergone a complete renovation by an award-winning American designer. It offers a well-appointed living room that is furnished with the highest quality furniture, lighting and artwork. Its focal point is a magnificent 19th century fireplace with a gold leaf mirror above and crystal wall sconces. French antiques accent the space.
The original hardwood floors have been refinished and restored throughout, except in the bathrooms and kitchen which have tile flooring. High dramatic ceilings, crown molding and large windows are featured throughout. The kitchen, bathrooms and toilet are new. All the state-of-the-art appliances were chosen for design and ease of use. They include a refrigerator/freezer combination, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso espresso machine, washer, dryer, television and DVD player.
The master bedroom features a queen size bed with a custom-built storage arch. The second bedroom is furnished with two large twin beds that can be easily converted in to a king size bed.
From the large windows and the balcony facing west, you will enjoy a complete view over the convent (built in the 18th century) and its garden across the street as well as the Eglise St. Jacques du Haut Pas built in 1620. From the living room and one of the bedrooms that are accessed off the balcony, enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the sunset! (See the floor plan.)
Wake up to coffee and croissants which you can prepare yourself in the apartment's new kitchen or get from the downstairs patisserie; gourmet meals are just a step away with the convenience of the gourmet caterer located downstairs. Nearby shops are located within walking distance giving you the atmosphere of a local village.
You can easily walk to the picturesque rue Mouffetard street market where you will find great shopping, restaurants and cafes. You could also wander around the Jardin des Plantes or go to the nearby St-Germain-des-Pres located in the 6th arrondissement, and enjoy shopping at the great boutiques, or have a drink at a sidewalk cafe. A local guide to the neighborhood will be provided. Transportation is easy, either by the Metro/RER Luxembourg, the Metro Cluny/La Sorbonne or the bus, providing direct access to all major sites. Maps of bus and metro routes will be available to you.

The apartment was perfect and we had a fantastic stay. It was lovely to be greeted by Xavier and we did not want for anything whilst in the apartment. You have thought of every detail. We loved returning home to the apartment after a big day of walking. Having a chef in the family, the wonderful local produce and everything we needed in the kitchen, we too dined at home more than we had anticipated. It was definitely the highlight of our trip and we look forward to returning. Kind regards.

My husband and I stayed with another couple at this amazing apartment! We were 15-25 min walks to Seine, Notre Dame, Louvre...etc. We loved how we were so close to the Lux. gardens! Metro and RER are few mins walking distance. There were so many great little cafes and restaurants mins away. We loved being in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Apartment was just the right size. Joseph was very helpful and accommodating when we arrived before check in! Excellent service! Thanks for an amazing stay!
We spent 4 days at the end of July and were very happy with our choice. Well equipped, well located, we felt very comfortable and safe. We used the recommended transportation to and from the airport which took all the stress out those maneuvers and made communication with the very efficient property manager on arrival very easy.
"Pallatial" is the word my friend, who is very familiar with Parisian apartments. The beds were comfortable, the property manager very accommodating and friendly, and the apartment was well-maintained and well-appointed with everything we needed to have a fantastic stay. A great, safe hopping-off point to explore Paris.
We spent 4 days in the apartment, which was very well equipped, including air conditioners for both bedrooms, a rarity in Paris! With several great restaurants around the corner, an Italian deli downstairs, and easy access to several main bus routes, it's an ideal location for spending time in the heart of the city. The flat was immaculate, and as a bonus had a lovely little balcony with a bistro table and chairs where you could relax and enjoy a typically Parisian skyline view. Highly recommended!
My family of four spent a week at this wonderful, airy apartment in Paris. The apartment was just as it appears on the website--simply and elegantly modernized, furnished, and decorated with the old (something perhaps selected at the Marche aux Puces or an antique store) and the more contemporary (colorful Miro pillows and contemporary art prints). We also enjoyed what can't be experienced from viewing the website photos: the old, beautifully refinished hardwood floors; the views from both the large windows overlooking the street below and those overlooking the back courtyard and apartment roofs; and the enormous amount of storage space available to guests. Before we settled in, the apartment had been thoroughly cleaned and set up for incoming guests. The kitchen is well-equipped for those who enjoy going to the local markets and cooking at "home" and nicely stocked with many kitchen basics (herbs, salt and pepper, olive oil, vinegar, plastic wrap, etc.). The location--just a few steps away from the Jardin du Luxembourg, buses and Metro, Boulevard Saint Michel, the Pantheon, cafes, food shops, and wine store--is excellent. We travelled with my elderly father (96!), so the building's elevator to the upper floor was indispensable. We all found the beds very comfortable and the linens (sheets, towels, etc.) of a very nice quality. We were welcomed by the owner's representative in Paris, who explained the workings of the apartment and was readily available during our visit. We used the shuttle service suggested in the online apartment information to take us to and from the airport. The service was reasonably priced, reliable, and the drivers most courteous. Although it was cloudy and drizzly during our late May stay, the apartment was a welcoming nest upon our return from each day's adventures. Given the opportunity, we would not hesitate to return...
